- My fascination with outrageous and awesome cars all started with Hot Wheels when I was a kid growing up in Texas. 50 years later, I’m still chasing that automotive itch with full-sized vehicles designed to start conversations and - in some cases - break performance records. Enter the Dodge Demon 170... In its stock form, this street legal beast is factory delivered with 1025 horsepower and claims the ability to pull the front wheels off of the ground! So, my friends at Direct Connection added a few MOPAR parts (including a parachute!) and we took my new car to the track... Will I get the tires in the air? Gentlemen (and women) start your engines!

My dad was a parts manager for Dodge and Chrysler for over 25 years. I was blessed to be around muscle cars and fixing them up with my father my whole life. Been to many shows and drag races over the years. My dad and i have been sharing pics and posts since you got your demon. One of my favorite comedians now sharing a love for Mopars it's been great to watch!

I love you as a ventriloquist, but EVEN MORE as a muscle car guy! I have a 2014 Hertz Penske GT Mustang that I race a little bit and man is it fun. Cant' wait to see more content from you and the 170. Congrats on having such a beast of a car!
Wow, I worked at dealerships on everything with engines and wheels, plus aftermarket shops. I never knew a stock car could pull the wheels. I have owned a Datsun 280Z (1976), a 78 Charger and others. Retired now but an older gentleman came in with 69 Chevrolet with a big block. It need a T-chain, tune and carb overhaul. I finish and out the door to test drive turned sideways on the street. I forgot how power feels like.

I love Jeff as his main job , his puppets and characters are so hilarious and it’s like they are real . Not many ( if any ) can do what Jeff does and do it so well! It I must say I do love seeing these background life videos and I’m a car jump kid myself and ever since I came across a video where Jeff was driving around the streets in the origional Batmobile , I stopped and watched more and I love his passion for cars both collectibles like Batmobiles and famous movie cars trucks and crazy stuff as well as road legal classics and fast cars also. It’s lovely to watch this side of Jeff along with his puppet shows and comedy stuff!bloody amazing Jeff! Keep em coming ❤😂

In '70 I was 11 and I had a ton of Hot Wheels and track, but don't remember the dragsters. I had a bunch of Matchbox too.
By '76 we were racing on the streets. In my circle of friends we had a '67 Coronet(mine), '67 Mustang, '69 Chevelle, '70 Road Runner, '71 Malibu, and a '73 Challenger. Lots of good memories!

Growing up and well into my olden days, I used to enjoy going to smash em up derby's. My friends dad used to build cars from scrap, I remember how amazing it was to kelly and I to watch her dad build a frame, engine, etc all the way to the paint job and custom logo's.
He was a pit boss on the road for years, till he caught his wife with his oldest brother 😱 and even though she was the adulterer, back in the 70's they still gave full custody to the mothers. She was a beach (had all weird rules, he could only see 1/3 at a time) and he sort of turned to alcohol and lost his career.
Don't know why I felt the need to share that. being a bit nostalgic I guess.

426 hemi in late 60s came with only a 90 warranty, wow now a 1000hp with warranty is definitely progress, so how long is the warranty good for? Jeff you should do more car videos, maybe a separate you tube channel for your cars or use this channel I dont know, Ive been a huge fan since spark of insanity, saw you live at mountain winery several years ago, and I was blown away with you always seem to have new material very creative person. we love ya Jeff, dont stop

Just so you know, not just guys like this stuff.
In my younger days I was part of my brothers pit crew. We were at Irwindale more times than I can count. I was raised around cars. My dad brought me up with the mindset that just because I was a girl didn't give me the excuse to not know how to take care of my own car. I have helped men figure out what could be wrong with their cars, much to their surprise. For example, a friend my son's came over and had been working on his truck but it kept backfiring. I told him it was out of time. I told him to pull the first plug, after I figured out what the firing sequence was, and had him get in and slowly crank the engine over, while I held my hand over the hole where the plug went. There is an intake stroke and a compression stroke on a car. The intake stroke feels like a small puff of air on your hand and the compression stroke feels like a slightly bigger puff of air. When I figured out where top dead center was, I pulled his distributer, turned it around and dropped it back in. He had it in backwards. The problem was solved.
My brothers race car was a 1970 Chevelle.
My car, that I still have to this day, is a 1967 Chevy Chevelle. Not the supersport. Mine is the one that has the window and door posts.

Me and my wife just seen you in Phoenix. That was a blast. We were right down front. Somehow my wife always gets great tickets. And my 2023 hellcat is sublime. Green. Same color as yours just not quite as much horsepower. But just as much fun. It seems to me she got tickets for somewhere in California. We're going to see you again. It was definitely fun to watch you pop a Willie.
This reminded me of the feeling I got at the revved engines and the smells and fun I had at quarter mile tracks and other racing tracks. Thank you Jeff

I had an old CJ5 Jeep I put a V8 in and would pop wheelies. Nobody would believe it until they saw it. I had so many people want to buy that thing it was not funny. I ended up trading it for a '69 high performance 'Vette that I modified and it generated over 800hp. I would pull the wheels off the ground with that one too. Ah, the good old days before 2 divorces!
As much as I know you are a car guy I didn't realize you never had anything that would lift the fronts! My first daily was an 80 malibu 2 door that was capable of doing about exactly what that one does. Now the one over there in my profile, yea that will carry the left front all the way around a dirt track.

I’m a Dodge lover when I bought my Car brand new I could not afford my dream car Challenger so I had to settle for a new Avenger , it’s still sporty enough looking that I don’t feel like a Soccer Mom but ummmmmm totally was at the time of purchase. Now over a decade later the Cars body has held up amazingly well absolutely zero rust not even a hint of a bubble and considering I live in Canada where we get so much salt tossed on our Highways ( I live in a very rural area in Saskatchewan I have to drive a minimum of 45 minutes to get anywhere close to civilization) it’s a show of how well taken care of my Car is . My Husband was not happy when I pulled a new Dodge into a very very loyal Ford garage but he’s come to really love my car , he drives it everyday not me his vehicle is a F 150 not so great on fuel when you commute to Work everyday so he drives my car unless I need it ( sadly not very often) but it’s been a great car other than Dodges absolutely horrendous Heater Cores they put in everything between 2010 and 2014 . I will always be a Dodge girl dreaming of her dream Car in her 💤.
