- Kyrie Eleison. Probably the most important keyword for the 4th chapter of the Eden Treaty, which has finally come to an end with the recent update. Once again, Blue Archive's scenario writer, isakusan, gave us a wonderful story to enjoy.
This arrangement is a special one, almost a composition/re-imagined version I would say. Although I could have just transcribed the original soundtrack, I thought it would be better to further expand on the idea and make an actual "Mika's Theme", so that's what I tried.
Based on both the soundtrack and the original Gregorian chant, I tried to express the feeling of the story: Mika praying for others for the first time, and herself being eventually saved, with a sense of hope. The 3/4 time signature was chosen not only to simplify the measure-less structure of the original soundtrack, but also to give a noble, slow waltz feeling that would suit a princess.
Overall, I had a great time making this small piece, and I hope you enjoy it as well :)

Reminds me of when Sunday mass was crowded; the pianists would often play improv on church music just like this while the priest and the communion ministry continued to give out the communion to the last person. Sometimes, when the congregation would finish receiving the communion early, the priest and everyone else would watch and listen to the pianist play until they were done improvising. Thanks for reminding me of those times 😄

Kyrie Eleison, which translates to "Lord, have mercy" from Latin. This particular version of Kyrie actually comes from the Missa de Angelis, and fun fact: We actually sang this roughly 2 years ago! So hearing this in volume 3 really hyped me. Thank you for this wonderful piece!
Honestly one of the best piano pieces ive ever listened too. You can feel the emotion and heart poured into this composition.
I was looking for Kyrie sheet music, but I came across a wonderful arrangement, so I play this.
This gave me childhood nostalgia of church. My piano teacher also played for my church as well
