    Was here in the 80s. Used to annoy my parents looking money for go karts. Dearest ride in the place I think.😂 Brilliant memories.

    I remember getting off at the train station and having to make your way to what was like a registration centre for your chalet allocation. They'd assign your chalet and you'd make your way down to it. Great memories of the excitement as you opened the chalet, even though it was spartan to say the least and had extremely cold floors. And there was always loads to do. You'd get an itinerary at the start of each week showing what was available. There was always something to do, or watch. Very sad to see it now.

      Very sad. I remember going in the main gates and getting the key to chalet. I was wondering weren't there some sort of petrol-tricycles there (not sure if I'm even using right terms for them) the track, I think anyway, is opposite train railway tracks for them at 1:04 1:48 and 4:38. Must check on Google images.

    The outdoor pool seems to be gone. It must have been filled in at some stage.

    How much land is attached to that site, and could it be restored to its former glory.

      When I arrived onsite back in March I honestly thought the campus was in fantastic condition although I was assessing its condition at 200feet. Subsequent to this footage a video was uploaded onto my Facebook site by "Flip flop windsurfing" and it totally contradicted my impression of Money and the thoughts that it could one day be the place we all adored.

      Not to bring politics into this, but it was a recreational venue for Irish people to holiday. It was never meant to be a home for asylum seekers.

      Only people I have a problem with in Mosney are the single mothered prostitutes who used their trade to secure their place in our society by making sure they had at least one child with Irish heritage. So like 20ish people I think total. Fuck those people slowing down the process for actual refugees fleeing for their lives not just the want for a better one. Everyone else is down to earth and cool as hell and deserve all they need to rebuild their lives.

      I don't remember the bikes can you be more specific, they were more than likely to the left of the path on entry from the train station.

    • @chinlesswonderkid
      @chinlesswonderkid 8 лет назад +1

      +Aaron Bux unless the bikes were there in my time. I was there one year in the late nineties. I think they were petroleum power tricycles must check on Google and see. 1:04 and 4:38 was where I think the track is that used the petrol tricycles. Not sure if am even using the correct terminology for them.
