I love that you say ladies & gentleman. So many fishing channels seem to believe only guys watch these videos. First time on your channel and I will definitely be back!
I get them at my favorite lake not far from Limerick, Greenlane. The spillway leads into a creek I forget the name of. They are invasive and we should should be using them as bait and food for ourselves. They are delicious.
Love your videos Leo, Can't stop watching, The EPF swim is now my favorite mini swim bait!!! Can't wait to get my hands on some of the wonderbread colored EPF swims when they come out!!!
Thanks for the video Leo, loved it and the sound was fine. I just ordered several different weights of the switch and one kit. I can’t wait to get them.
Glad you were able to improvise. I was cracking up when you were doing your micky mouse voice and it was echoing across the spillway 😂. The new jigs looks cool. I need to try some euro tackle stuff
Any video is better then no video. I've got some Swing Jigs in my tackle box, great weights to have around can use them for drop shot weight if your in a pinch.
I'm Russian I know what a cheburashka is. But I never seen this rig. Thanks to you I just spent 40$ getting some from Poland. I would buy euro tackle but they don't have the weights in colors.
Leo, thank you for teaching me how to fish! Love your vids, appreciate all the info you share with us. Found a whole bunch of species of fish I never knew existed in childhood spots. 10 years ago. Crazy. I make flures now. I can make a very durable version of almost any soft plastic using fly tying materials. If that interests you, I'd love to send you jigs. Thank you again Uncle Leo. Also, if you have a few minutes, look up Bible Way To Heaven - Roger Jimenez. That's how I got saved. My conscience wouldn't let me sleep if I didn't tell you. But yeah, if you want a realistic Ned rig craw, a swimbait made of leather, or durable micro jigs, HMU.
how have I not seen you yet. I have fished alot of the same spots. You have ran into a friend of mine years ago. One of these days ill see you out there
@@josecruz021 I guess it’s the spawn? I have a few spots I get them in the spring but haven’t had success in the fall yet. I’m here near EPF outside of Philly.
Oh I love this spot, once I saw the thumbnail I knew this video is going to be a banger! Invasive crayfish? That's funny, in Germany actually almost all crayfish are invasive, mostly pacifastacus leniusculus and faxonius limosus. They're carrying a disease which they are immune to but the local astacus astacus are dying to it. Do you know which species is the invasive one in the core creek? I've been using the cheburashka a lot over the past few years, mainly paired with a crayfish imitate for some juicy perca fluviatilis and sander lucioperca. Haven't tried it for smaller lures though, might give it a try.
@@extremephillyfishing it's kind of funny that a species that is native to the US can still be invasive. Of course it does make sense considering the size of the US.
There is one of my videos that I am fishing the C-14 Canal down in Florida - the one where I catch my Lifer Spinycheek Sleeper. In that video, I ALMOST caught something that looked like that - big shrimp type thingy with big claws.
@@extremephillyfishing They're pretty big. Had a small one in my 120 gallon fishtank. Mega aggressive to anything near it's home. Will check that out thanks.
Hey Leo, love the videos of your ever in the Virginia area let me know own a piece of property that’s perfect with a microlight huge bluegill and crappie paired with excellent largemouth fishing
I am a versatile dude. If the fish is in the middle of the water column and lethargic on top of it, I would rather work it awkwardly and catch fish than not catching. Lol. But that's just me. It is like Zoom Flukes for me as well - I can use them on a jig, mid water to bottom, or, if I see a Snakehead laying around cover, I just switch up and "walk the dog" with it on a single hook.
You didnt hook it together right. Youre supposed to drop the ball and then stab yourself under the fingernail with the hook while putting it together. 😅
Hey Leo! Did you hear PA BFC cancelled all 2024 trout stockings in the Delaware Canal? If you did, did you hear any reason why? I know that's one of your favorite spots to hit for your videos.
Just got the email about these from Eurotackle. They’re called ‘Cheb’s’ everywhere else in the world I’m interested as to why they’ve decided to brand them ‘switch rigs’ when they already have a well established name.
My guess? To introduce this style of rigging to the American people, Ben chose a smart marketing strategy so that folks can be more open-minded. After all, a lot of people in this country are not big fans of Russia - where the Cheburashka originated from.
Audio is not too bad(and I am someone that has complained about peoples audio idk more than 10 times). I have nor heard about invasive crayfish, that is mildly intereting
Hi Leo! Thanks for the video. My daughter and I watch your videos together and enjoy them. We miss your signature fun intros!
I love that you say ladies & gentleman. So many fishing channels seem to believe only guys watch these videos. First time on your channel and I will definitely be back!
It’s so awesome to see new Eurotackle products. As soon as I saw the video drop, I ordered a few of the kits to try out.
Thank you Ben for finally letting us see this video
😂🤣
Good to see you out there grinding brother! Tight lines as always man!🐟🐟🐟🐟
I like the concept for those jigs
Probably the Rusty Crayfish. Not bad eating by themselves. I get tons out of the Susquehanna every summer

I commented this before he saw the sign lol
Glad you Are back to RUclips fishing. I love your excitement and attention to detail. Thanks again.

Your video's are both enjoyable and informative...thanks
Always learning something new thanks Leo!
babe wake up epf just posted!!!

Nice bro. We found some holes down that creek loaded with perch...nothing big but lots of em
This video is just like your fishing livestreams and I’m not even mad🙌🏽
Hey! Your fav spot is in my backyard. Hope I get to meet you some day. Happy fishing!!!
Always enjoy and learn from your videos
Saw my first Osprey, AKA, the Fish Hawk, of 2024 today. Good to see them back.
Nice to see you Leo.
Great tip on the Snags. I wish i knew this when i started. Wouldve saved me a lot of money LOL

Best snag tutorial ever!
I'm Russian I know what a cheburashka is. But I never seen this rig. Thanks to you I just spent 40$ getting some from Poland.
I would buy euro tackle but they don't have the weights in colors.
Yeah I order mine from Japan , cheb rigs, basically just weights with a clip in them.
Dudes just casually bein funny nd casually fishing 😂 gassin up the lures. lol😂 goin pro bro😂🫅
Another order for me haha going to put a crappie magnet on one and catch some cold water canal chickens
I love that spillway very chill to fish in
😮😮😮 those rigs are dope! Definitely copping those!

Love to see the vids brother! Gonna try to make it to Mohegan this weekend as I’m from and live in northern ct!
Those kits look great, I just ordered a couple, and used the EPF code to get my discount. Watershed here opens 4/15, almost there.
Thanx
nice fishing but to me nothing beats the Rapala jointed baits...just awesome
I love cheb rigs. I was using them a lot last year with micro weedless hooks
Very nice video bro...👌👌👌👌 I am from India but like your video...🐟🐟🐟🐟
Amazing, you have great energy when fishing!
Time for some brown trout soon 🎣🎣💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💯💯💯
Subscribed! Dang you’re funny as heck! Tight lines brother!
Great video 👋🥰🤗👍🐟🐠🎣
A video on my birthday this is awesome!!!! Banger gonna have to get some of those rigs
Happy Birthday, Aaron!!! 🎂
OG spot, and audio sounds fine
Uncle Steve style video I dig it
I miss Uncle Steve.
Tight Lines Bro!

Excellent video quality.
Just ordered some EPF grubs for crappie season. Thank you for the amazing products.
Isn't crappie season the fall? Or you mean the spawn
@@josecruz021 I guess it’s the spawn? I have a few spots I get them in the spring but haven’t had success in the fall yet. I’m here near EPF outside of Philly.

Yes. The invasive crawfish around there is the Rusty Crawfish.

Hey brother, ever see a Macrobrachium carcinus? I used to catch some big ones in SoFla.
The new tech with the weights/lures is cool.

In EU îs the go to rig for Zander and Perch I use it all the time and is very efective
Finally a fishing video
Last video on the channel has fishing too, brooooski.
ITS THE PINK COLOORRSS!!!
Imagine fishing with this guy and you just wanna fish in quiet. 😌
Another technique for snags is to not use the rod at all, put the loose line in your hand then use your hand to shake up to the tension.
Very nice
Hey Leo, love the videos of your ever in the Virginia area let me know own a piece of property that’s perfect with a microlight huge bluegill and crappie paired with excellent largemouth fishing
Audio is actually pretty good.
That background looks like the windows screensaver 😂
Leo you using a insta360 camera? I use the x3 the footage looks similar to how mine looks
What are the pros of using that set up compared to a regular jighead setup?
Nvm, I should really pay attention to the video🥲😂😂
philly getting snagged: be calm like a gentle breeze
me getting snagged: yank fast and hard include curse words lol 😅
fire thumbnail :)
You really should check out Cast Cray baits. An all American bait company. 29 different small baits 64 different colors. Baits made in America.
I just checked them out online. I appreciate the suggestion. I will stick to the Eurotackle soft plastics, though.
I feel you 😂hahaha
How’s the carp fishing there?
I never caught a Common Carp bigger than 4 pounds under the spillway, but the main Lake Luxembourg has some BIG CARP in it.
Didn’t realize how much the mic actually does. Still a great video regardless
Was this the size 10 hook?
Yooooo lessssgoooooo
Wowie Zowie
shame this area is now polluted and they stopped stocking trout in the main lake
you're the first person i saw fish that rig with a floater, normally it meant to fish on the bottom
Yep it's a bottom lure kinda pointless to use a float

You should buy the tatula xt ultralight or light
I may be biased, but my signature ultra-light rod is my favorite. Haha. I do appreciate the suggestion.
@@extremephillyfishing maybe you designed it that way eh
core creek don't fish there anymore , because of how bad waters there
Can u do a video on striped bass at barnegat light

Currently in Brazil. Posting stuff on IG every day (@extremephillyfishing_lifelists). I am getting back to the USA on May 1st..
May 5th 2023 is last crappie you caught
That was a Black Crappie (Pomoxis nigromaculatus). I didn't catch any White Crappie (Pomoxis annularis) in 2023.
Oh ok sorry about that
