From season 2 on, almost every episode of "CHiPs" ended with multiple freeze frames. Usually double or triple freeze, sometimes even a quadruple or quintuple.
Inspired by the original "CHiPs tape", which circulated on VHS in the 2000s, as seen on the Museum of Home Video / museumofhomevideo

This was one of the best shows on Television. I wish they would keep these old shows still on Television. Old school shows . I grew up with these shows like he Dukes of Hazzard, The A Team, Knight Rider, Rip Tide . And many more I can't remember

What I loved about this show is the camaraderie you see. It seemed to exist everywhere back then and nowhere today. This is what I miss the most about the past.

Most of the camaraderie you're talking about ended because of the internet. Now everything is done online while staring into a screen. Add to that the 24 hour news cycle and roaming internet - it has ramped up suspicion and mistrust through the roof. And if that weren't bad enough, we also live in a society that demands that we be happy. All the time. Constantly. And if you're not, then just "get over it." Back in those days, friendships were worth fighting for - it meant sometimes putting your happiness aside for the moment to help a friend. These days, there's this horrible arrogance that suggests: "What? You're not happy? Then get away from me. I don't want you spoiling MY happiness!" A lot of people have said that, sure, they feel more connected to everyone - but at the same time, they've never felt more alone. Amen to that. I miss that camaraderie, too.

Such as vilifying the homeless and drug dependant and millennials, and The rich labeling people as lazy, when in reality ww cant go back to the way of the old days with overpopulation and depleting resources.

A very strange police show. Guns never fired, let alone being taken out of the holsters, especially after high speed chases, Jon's mushroom type hair style, Ponch's obvious immature nature especially around women, disco soundtrack years after the disco fad passed, and an auto mechanic who takes center stage from time to time.

Well I have to disagree with you here. Just because there was good TV in the past doesn't mean today's TV sucks. This isn't a Zero Sum Game. You can have good television in both eras. Today's television is good - but in a different way. Both are not mutually exclusive. You can have a show like Chips airing right next to a show like Chicago P.D. without there being an issue. I'll never understand why so many people believe that, in order for the past to be good, one must first discredit the present. That's nonsense. All that does is narrow down the choices. In any event - the television industry provides mostly that which people want to see.
