This is the only video that I’ve seen that go straight to the point that’s what people want ❤
Thanks. You went right into the issues, instead of a long useless monologue like some vids. I used your setup and it works perfectly.
YES.....no monologue!!!
The most coherent instruction available on RUclips, others were unnecessarily meandering and confusing. The connection, as explained cost me £5, so I owe you a pint!
I like that you get right to the point. Too many RUclipsrs think they are comedians or actors. Drag on WAY too long. Nice Job!
This video saved my nerves. I know just enough to get in trouble. Thank you for explaining this simply in plain language.
Thank you Mark for the clarification on how to connect dual monitors properly. I also appreciate that you show how to setup the display preferences for the monitors, this was a very helpful video!
FINALLY RIGHT TO THE POINT ... 20 VIDEOS FROM OTHER RUclips GUYS DIDN'T GET NOTHING. AND THIS VIDEO .. EXPLAIN ME EVERYTHING.. THANKS
Mate, I am obsessed with your setup! It screams classic and simple!
Simple and to the point. Thanks man.
Been searching on RUclips for days. Thank you for this straight forward video!!
Thank you. Showed exactly what I needed to know.
Thank you for getting right to the issue and offering a perfect solution. I'll be looking for more of your work!
Quick Easy & Straight to the Point TY!
Thank you so much. I was able to get my monitors to extend!
Great, concise, helpful video, thank you sir!
Nice explanation, easy to understand.... Thank you Mark!
Nice one Mark - just ordered the HDMI/ USB C connector to run 2 screens on my new Mac Mini M1!
appreciate this!! short and straight to the point ! thanks
Your the best bro, thanks for the great info that was needed. Take care
Great tutorial, thanks for the run down!
AMAZING THANK YOU!!! That’s perfect explanation, FINALLY!!! 😊😊😊
Thank you very much. After watching three videos previous oo your, your was right on the money and so simple to understand, some people get hooked up with the technicals parts and make something so simple very difficult to understand. I'm sbscribed!
Great job. No useless running commentary as to how you feel about it but showing spot on how it all works. Thanks !!!
Thanks for making it simple and easy.
thanks for the detailed tutorial !
Thank you so much. My son was too busy to help me. Thank you for your help.
THIS WAS VERY HELPFUL!!!
Excellent stuff man! Super helpful review
Thank you Mark. This was helpful. Best video about this topic.
thx, worked for me. had to restart my computer to get both monitors recognized
Perfect video! I was able to connect my second monitor within the first minute and half of your video. The rest had a couple useful tips too. I'm definitely going to subscribe.
Thanks, I’m glad I could help you out.
My man ! Straight to the point ! Thanks 🙏
❤❤
Thank you! Your video was a big help.
Thanks for the great video, Mark!
thanks for the clear explanation
I stumbled upon your video out of desperation and wow you helped fix my mouse issue. I wasn't able to toggle from the left monitor to the right one without hitting an imaginary wall and all I needed to do was grab my main monitor and place it on the other side. phew thanks a bunch!
Lol.. No problem, glad I could help.
Thanks to you I have two Samsung M5 monitors set up with using one as a display!
The best and simple way to connect thanks for your video I will apply it 🎉
this is so useful. thanks.
Lovely, great that you immediately come to the issue, and I just decided to buy mac mini, and thought the HDMI splitter is the only way, and with my laptop is does not work. Subscribed !
Lifesaver, great video and helped me out!
Thank you so much!!!!💕
Amazing video homie. This really helped
Awesome thanks!
Great video sir
Just bought the usb adapter from your link in desc!
Thanks man I needed to know this
Awesome video thanks dude!!!
Brilliant video. Thanks a lot!
To the point. I like it. Thanks bro.
I will try this soon
Thanks Mark!
Thank you for the simple video!
No problem Bry. I'm glad I could be of service.
Thanks for the informative video Mark. So my understanding is you only need to use the USB-C to HDMI adapter if your 2nd monitor does not have a USB-C input. Otherwise a USB-C cable which I am using, connects without any issues from my Mac mini to the 2nd monitor. Cheers
Great video!! Thanks
Thank you!!!!!
Thanks for share it !
THANK YOU
Thx Man U didn’t have to explain shit that I don’t know when straight into the point
Thanks bro..
Awesome intro
Great video
Thanks bro.... good video... good luck
No problem Nik, Thanks for the encouragement
Thanks
Great instruction..Thank you! Are there displays on the market where you don't need adapters?
This is great. Nice and simple unlike most videos on the same topic. Question: So what is the plan of attack if I wanted to add a third monitor? Thanks!
The Mac mini doesn't support three monitors, but if you want to add a third monitor you will most likely have to add an extra piece of hardware. (Dell D3100 USB Hub) Check this article out: functionalthoughts.com/how-to-run-a-mac-mini-with-3-monitors/ Also, I can't make any promises on how valid that information is.
perfect
Thank you for the video. I wonder how to drag folder/file from one display to other? any possible solution
Awesome video, thank you for the explanation. I have a question. Do I need the HDMI adapter or can I use a usbc to hdmi cord and connect directly?
Thank you Mark.
Does this work on older mac mini versions? I have the 2018 model.
Great Video..by the way How would I be able to hook up a PS4 or ps5 to my already dual monitor setup using your method?
Hey Mark - TY for the useful video. I have a brand new M1 2020 Mini Mac and i have to monitors connected, One direct HDMI and the other through HDM-thunderbolt adapter. Everything works fine even the extended. However, i cannot span one application on both screens. I used to have a MacBook pro with one external monitor connected and i was able to maximize a application and have it spanned to both display. I use VMMare for my work, and i was able to have VmWare use both the MacBook display and the external monitor as one large display However, im not able to do that with my setup on the mini mac, I use the "Use All display" and Full screen settings on VmMare it only maximizes to a single monitor display, not across both like it used to do with my MacBook. Not sure if thats how it is with mini mac or if i'm missing some setting... any ideas ???... thank you again! .. T
Only worked when I stumbled upon the the display rate, only work when both moitors were changed from 75 to 60 htz. Hope this helps others
hey Mark thats for the tutorial do you know if the m2 mac mini can support 144hz displays. Thanks
Are these two extended displays?
I’ve Mac same Mac mini, can I connect projector and monitor with that adapter?
What is the monitor stand you are using for dual?
Is that possible to connect with one ultra wide monitor and a 4k monitor at as time?
It seems very simple. I have two Fujitzu monitors from 2008. They work via VGA or DVI (1080p Resolution and no HDMI). I am thinking of buying a Mac Mini M2 pro. Do you think these two monitors would work?
If they would work, how would you set them up?
Thank you very much.
Is there any way to disable the 2nd monitor without unplugging the HDMI cable?
Hi, I really liked your tip, but your video just lacked you to say if you were using 4k 2.5k or 1080p resolution
I have an iMAC thunderbolt monitor and Macbook Pro. Can I set them up dual monitor?
I have a small question, didn't watch the whole video again. But which mac mini m1 version do you have? and on which resolution are your screens? I have a 16gb/1tb and am experiencing serious lag
i had a mac mini 2018 one direct hdmi to a TV and another thunderbolt to a 27inch monitor but each time start up the monitor one but the TV connection is not on, may i know why?
My Mac mini does not have thunderbolt ports on the back. Is there a video showing how to do the setup without thunderbolt ports?
On the second monitor, are the USB hubs on the back of the monitor active and usable? I was using thunderbolt to thunderbolt for monitor 1, and HDMI to HDMI for monitor 2 - but was unable to use any peripherals on monitor 2. Can't figure it out!
will this work if i have a dell monitor and an Imac computer and a mac mini? Meaning i run the hdmi cable from my mac mini to my dell monitor and then run a usb c tu usb c cable from my mac mini to the Imac usb c computer on the back? Do you think that will work or this this only good for pc monitors?
Awesome video! If you have two Thunderbolt to HDMI cables, would the dual screen setup still work if you plug each screen directly behind the thunderbolt ports in the mac mini?
Will both Thunderbolt and USB-C both work interchangeable? They both looked the same but not sure if there's any support issue or restrictions if you use one or the other.
Yes, the setup you described should work
screen saver with photos not working. any help with this?
Thank you for the helpful video!! Every couple days, when I move the mouse to start the computer, my main display (monitor with the menu bar) will switch to the right side for no reason. Any fix?
Hello Ryan, try the following fix. Navigate to the Apple menu, then go to system preferences and select mission control. Inside mission control, uncheck the box that says "Displays have separate spaces. Hope that helps
does this work for 2 4K monitors?
what monitor do You use ? Is there good picture quality ?,
what resolution You set ?
I read about problems With scaling for external monitor conected with apple M1 devices
is text sharp or blurry ?
sorry for my english
Do you have a link for the arm that is holding your monitor? Thank you 😊
www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009S750LA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
Where is that next video telling us what to do after we hooked up all the cables?? I hooked up the same cables you did and my iMac doesn’t recognize the second monitor
I got hdmi adapter for Mac mini but when I used it the monitor was just mirroring but couldn't use both screens at a time...and it didn't show me that I could arrange the Windows
do I need to but a usb C adaptor instead ?
Under System Preference - display- Arrangements, make sure the mirror display box is unchecked.
Hi,
I have a Mac Mini M1, and it is connected to two Dell monitors. Each time I switch the cursor between the two monitors to use one of them, I have to click to get access to that monitor. Is there an option when the cursor is on that particular monitor that it can automatically recognise and select without clicking twice to select?
My display is blurred. Any tips to fix?
Great video Mark, thank you. Do you have any brand/model monitor "not too expensive" to suggest?
I guess it just depends on what you need them for. If you’re a gamer/you may want to get a 4k monitor(Check Amazon best sellers list for 4k monitors),but for normal use I would stick with 1080p.Here’s the link to the monitors I’m using (they are both 1080p) www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B087QRW81Z/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Thank you!
I did this but monitor with adapter has blank screen. Both are brand new.
My monitor already has a working usb c for desplaying a screen
