I did some testing myself, if you like consecration: DO NOT USE FULMINATION WITH SYNTHOCEPS it does some wacky reverse damage boosting and results in roughly half the total damage that a consecration synthoceps can do without fulmination
hoping the last artifact row juices trace rifles, first artifact drop had sword perks lining in with ergo sum and heavy sword dmg, this act has sniper perks for still hunt, and i heavily doubt we would get an auto rifle focused dps artifact, so a trace rifle amper + maybe ammo economy helping artifact perk would be fantastic for microcosm.
While the Golden Gun sniper ignitions aren’t amped, you can transfer the Hazardous Propulsion’s 35% damage bonus into the Dragon’s Breath ignitions which will trigger much more often when paired with a Fourth Time’s Ikelos sniper. It’s pretty sweet because it enables ignitions that do well over 70k a piece with the right mods and activity modifiers. Real nice for GMs.
Fun thing to note: if you have the raid sniper with chill clip and at least 4 rounds as the maximum ammo you can stop all three champion types if you also have anti-barrier sniper on.
If you pop Song of flame you proc ignition in 2 shots with the fragment on! Made a few solar focus warlock builds. Excited to go through the GM with a buddy on div!

I get that people have been asking for anti-barrier sniper for a while now, but did we really need a third anti-barrier mod in this artifact? Unstoppable has 2 and Overload only has 1, which is hand cannons, again. I really hope act 3 brings a decent overload mod, otherwise im just not going to do any activity that features overloads. (Yes, i get that both stasis and arc also counter them, but those are subclass things, not guns.)
Crit boss dps checkpoints are way less than 5% of the entire game. So Still Hunt isn't great everywhere and they are still gutting it's synergy with Celestial by cutting the damage bonus in half.

I think you're talking about where the artifact forces you to select a minimum amount of mods before you can select ones in later rows. Try temporarily removing a mod from the last row and it should work. If the box is filled in. The mod should be active.
Does 1shot goldie for still hunt still carry over if swapping to another exotic piece to not be affected by the 26% Damage reduction? I feel like that's what people would just do then, guessing it turns it into regular 3shot though

Sometimes a different source will cause them to ignite rather than the powered melee and this can make it miss. I've found if you scorch a target with the melee, then tickle their health bar until they're nearly done, then the scorch from the melee ignites them and procs sunbreakers. It's faffy but it works

Streamers are agents of chaos. They want to continue discomfort in gaming by saying anything that’s enjoyable and can be useful in endgame content should be nerfed. If they shout out what needs to be nerfed, Bungie will nerf it, buff something old or give something new so the streamers can have content to put out so they can keep making money.
Does Sunshot actually get buffed by the Artifact Perk that increases damage and size of ignitions? Been seeing people saying it works with Fragments as well, never got proof of that tho.
Both Sunshot and Polaris Lance do not cause ignitions on their own. They spread scorch, so yes they can benefit from the perk but only when you build up enough scorch stacks to cause an ignitions.
here's a short list: for firing at a boss continuously, you want a 140rpm sniper, the best options for that being The Supremacy, Irukandji, Distant Tumulus, Twilight Oath, and Ikelos SR. for taking out individual mid-sized targets, you want a 72rpm sniper, and Succession rules the roost for that role due to having Recombination. Critical Anomaly is also useful if you can get it with Chill Clip from Salvation's Edge, it's Riptide as a sniper rifle and you can even get damage perks on it since Chill Clip is column 3.
I just had a group disband after two people joined the group that specifically requested knowledge and experience. Only made it through the first encounter.
Motion to just have all artifact perks unlockable, most of them are tied to specific weapon types, like Stasis, Strand, Sword, Sniper, etc. and obviously do not work unless those are weapon types are equipped. I want to just cut out the fiddling with the artifact whenever we change loadouts/activities. Just have them all unlockable, nothing in the artifact is out of bounds or synergize enough to be completely busted.
Still hunt is just stupid. Im sorry, but they need to just remove celestial nighthawk interaction, because that much free damage for so little work only on 1 class just absolutely breaks the game and has to be removed. its stupid it even got in this overtuned. And them just adding mods to make it do even more damage is just obsurdly stupid. Look I like exotic weapons and armor synergy, but this is way too unhealthy for the game and makes running anything else a detriment to a team and kills buildcrafting. If they want to keep the nighthawk interaction it has to get at least a 50% damage reduction. make it only SLIGHTLY better then 3 normal shots.

Hitting 5-6 mil per damage phase on witness using whisper, this can be on any character, get good at dodging and you COOK
Whisper for witness damage goes nuts now. 5 mil in a single damage phase on well of radiance.

As a controller user, there's no way I'm using a sniper. They just simply suck in PVE, unless you're doing boss DPS.
