  • I got a head start on how to lower the front suspension on a 1977 Chevy C10 truck and realize that Rockauto messed up my order. I will end up doing part of the job over again. But for the most part, it's done!

    I think we're going to have to start calling him down and dirty Dale now that it's lowered. Nice work Jason! I'm with you on top of tire right even with bottom of fender lip as the right call.

      I’m pretty sure the entire kit was made by Belltech.

    I like they way that sits. Fender just a little higher then the tire. It looks good. Torque thrust or caragrs always looked good on those trucks to me.

      I like the nostalgic look of the Cragars too, but I may go a bit new school and keep within budget.

      @@OldeCarrGuy last time i bought cragar ss they where either the same if not cheaper then torque thusrt i went with 15x8 and 15x10. I think i paid around 600 for a set. But its been along time. Of course those are no where near new school lol

    Hello my friend , I know this may sound like a stupid question but I installed Belltech springs about a month ago with spindles etc... which is the top and the bottom of the spring? They were very similar size each pig tail. The slightly smaller one goes down or to the upper control arm? I don’t know if I put the upside down or not and I tried seeing what you did but it was already installed. The Belltech stamp on it should be legible and right side up or that makes no difference? Thanks in advance and hope to hear back

    • @OldeCarrGuy
      @OldeCarrGuy  4 года назад

      Hey Zachary! You are correct! You should be able to read the Belltech upright. Also, the bottom of the spring end should prominently fit into the lower control arm. Hope this helps!

      I have 2 GoPro’s! A 5 & 6, a GoPro clamp, regular tripod to clamp it to, the mic adapter and a Boya mic with wind sock (BY-MM1). I recently switched fro 1080 to 2.7k quality!
