If you're worried about the ladder lifting. You can always nail a block on the wall, or a stake in the ground...
I've worked alone for so long, I have learned to setup quick and easy setups, that allow me to walk up and down quickly to make as many cuts as I can carry back with me. Although some days I make a few trips, this entire upper floor has taken me 3 days so far (1 wall per day) and that's all thanks to the quick, effective ladder plank setups

I do that same with my 20' plank strapped to the forks of the gradall. Get to the end and works just fine.

Hahah trying to have a sleep over bud.. amen. Too many people rely on the governemnt to tell them whats safe. With a Good work ethic and some balls you can under cut other bids because the need a couple thousand and 3 days just to set up and tear down
