Not so soon.
Heck yes! Best comment
Actually really cool fact about this performance, I was in there live seeing it and they told about the music and stories of the series in between the performances. For this one they told that they had actually written with John Williams about the idea of this concert, can't remember why maybe something with permission. But he loved the idea so much that he actually sent the Orchestra is own hand written sheets of music he made back in the day when composing this master piece. So as they said, they had gotten their hands on a real piece of movie music history
They had searched for the sheets for Parade of the slave children, but could not find them anywhere. DR than contacted John Williams about the issue, and he sent the original sheet paper. Han Duo did a great job, and we, the audience, instantly connected with them. It was just pure love for those amazing movies.
@@dannilundgren Ah yeah that was how it was, thanks :)
One of the most iconic movie themes ever made. Y'all did it justice.
All their recordings are superb
I love this orchestra. I want to see them perform live now. Denmark, here I come!
Enjoy! They're even better live. This was a fantastic concert to experience.
@@ChristofferETJ 100%👍👍👍
You’re welcome here 🥰
That's exactly what I said after watching their "Good, Bad, Ugly" series. So, I saw this concert in person. It was worth it.
Copenhagen is a great city full of wonderful, friendly people. Nearly everyone speaks fluent English too. Be advised that the concert programs are only in Danish, and the speeches (which are always cut from these RUclips posts) are also in Danish. But, that doesn't take away from the experience. The concert hall is more beautiful than appears in these videos.
Also, the mermaid is smaller than you'd expect.
Welcome! You won't regret it. I go there from Sweden once or twice a year.
Your performances are great, a concert tour around Europe would be nice :)
I doubt the average Danish taxpayer would be thrilled about funding a tour around Europe - not to mention that it would interfere with the orchestra's regular duties - but there are plenty of great national orchestras throughout Europe who put on concerts like these.
@@mulrich No, actually there aren't any. Who else is playing film music to this extent and quality? That's why we're flying to Denmark next year to see them.
@@matejfele9971 excellent! I hope you enjoy it.
As for your question, I can't speak to quality, but tomorrow alone, 11th October 2024, there are movie music concerts in Spain, Croatia, France, Ireland, Poland, the UK, the Netherlands, and Russia. Several in Spain and Poland, in fact. Several more outside Europe, in the USA, Taiwan, Australia, Canada, and Japan.
Just absolutely perfect! This orchestra is so dang good!
What a successful and beautiful performance, compliments to the orchestra musicians and the conductor. It was also nice to see how much fun the conductor had! 🤠
Stunning performance by DNSO of the John Williams composure. Bravo! (original was in 1981!)
DNSO, amazing! Mr.Schumann,Bravissimo ❤
wonderful conductor, wonderful orchestra, wonderful version, thank you
WONDERFULL! FANTASTIC! BEAUTIFUL! The best movie theme of all time!
Well that a Hard pick, star wars, jurassic park and Superman (1978 movie) + E.T., home alone, and Harry potter and Indiana jones all Got great Music.. why cause John wiliams composed the music
Brings a smile to my face. Nice to see the conductor and instrumentalists enjoying it.
I wish you were in the states, I'd come watch every time.
There are some great orchestras in the US who do these kinds of things, but the ones I know of, as a foreigner, are located in big cities, so that's probably not much help if that's nowhere near where you are.

Flawless
Denmark, I forgive you for the whole Viking thing.

a pity indy never had a viking adventure. imagine if he went on a quest to find the eye of odin, or thor's hammer.

@@IDoSnipeYT In the second best adventure game ever made (only beaten by Monkey Island II: LeChuck's Revenge).
This orchestra sounds so crisp!!❤
as always, beautifully played guys and galls, super
Icon theme and flawlessly performed. WAUW!
Great performance. Very cool!
I would love to be in the audience. As with everything this extrordinary orchestra does, This was fantastic.
No matter how good these recordings are, it will never compare to actually being in the audience. You feel the music in addition to hearing it.
Its really interesting listening to this version and the one by the Vienna Philarmonic when John Williams conducted them back to back, and listening to the differences
agree !
YES! Been waiting for this!
Energizing! ❤ 2:47
Excellent as usual! Y'all never disappoint.
John Williams. You are the King of orchestra composer. Wish I can see you conducting your songs
The amount of absolutely iconic scores John Williams has created, is just astounding.
Great as always.
Danish National Symphony has the best musicians in the world, everything they reproduce sounds like the original which I know is very difficult to do..
Wow. Heartbite!
Awesome!
Lego Videogame came to my memory
Kiss a Wookie, Kick a Droid, Fly the Falcon through an asteroid.... Sorry, I just got carried away there.
We are lucky to have such a national symphony orchestra!
If you'd be so kind, I need this when I enter a room at work. Maybe 50%, but the essential bits...
Por fin gracias!
Some thirty years ago, I got to experience John Williams himself conducting the Cleveland Orchestra playing this.
This is as good.
You could tell the conductor was loving doing that piece. And quite frankly, who could blame him. Fantastic performance.
wonderfull :)
Excelente 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🇨🇱✌️
It's interesting to compare this classic theme to John William's one for "Superman". They are very similar in style, beat and rhythm.
nice
Stunning
They are Brilliant! Amazing performance! Played to perfection!
🎶✨✨
Лучший оркестр мира! Идеальное исполнение! Музыка Джона Уильямса 😍❤️❤️❤️
Dave USA; Excellent!
I’ve got a lot of fond memories of that dog … and this song
🎶🔥🎶
You should do a LOST suite. The soundtrack of this series is incredible!
👍👍👍
Speechless amazing love all there videos
Great orchestra, great conductor!!
Do DNSO do anything other than Movie Music ?
Their upcoming themed concert is video game music.
DR discovered doing these concerts is lucrative. They still perform your typical classical concerts too.
Yes. They mostly do classical music. Each Thursday they play a concert that is transmitted in the radio. They have done his for 90 years.
Just check out their website or even the youtube channel, lots of other music there... on the popular side, aditionally to movies, they also do video games and tv shows.
We are first and foremost a classical symphony orchestra with weekly performances in our hall. We play the big symphonic repertoire. These concerts are only a small part of our repertoire.
Please come to Germany and give me the Chance to listen this and other master pieces ❤
European Tour please !!!!
Cómo te llamas puro güey y ber...
Everybody's lost but me!
Awesome
The DNSO seal of quality, as always.
😘
Would love to hear them play songs from Helldivers 2!
Forget it, they are the best.
Very nice, but the snare drum was over-miked a bit.
I love.....from Brasil❤
La música es arte pasión,corazón,cosa que hoy no hay
I would love to hear them do the Legend of Zelda
@DR Koncerthuset, jeg er en stor fan, ligesom resten af verden, men kunne i ikke uploade i minimum 4K, det er nogle år siden 1080 var normen...
Guess you hsve to buy the BlueRay if you want higher quality 😂
It would be great if the orchestra was invited to perform at the BBC Proms, but l doubt it ever happening
It has happened a number of times already 😊
Nice 🥰
😊
I wish someone can erase Disney out of my memory.
Reminds me of when movies were made, right. Not this computer crap. Real acting, real orchestras
Raiders used blue screen a few times, that's technically computer work
John wiliams is on the same level as Beethoven, Mozart and the other great composers..
🎶😭😍🤤🎶
I bet the conductor can do one hell of a robot
Превосходная игра!
Great !
First!❤
No conocen el diccionario puro güey
I have to go buy a horse a Fedora and a bullwhip.
We don't need to hear about your weird fetishes, just enjoy the music please 👍👍
😂😂😂@@VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
@@VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM What's the problem, let the guy/gal enjoy the fantasy.... seriously, don't be a dick just because.
I still can't hear any difference between this and the original soundtrack.
Indiana Jones could be a movie franchise that worked like Bond. Change the actor every few films. It would have stopped that last film from happening. It would work with good new actors.
Mmm. No. It's not the same.
Absolutely not
Nope. Name one actor who could replace Ford. And, by God! Don't say Pratt! It's like saying someone should replace Willis as McClane, or Stallone as Rocky. Can't happen. Sorry
Hmmm, a left fingered trumpet/cornet...
