Nice little trivia on this game: the Yale band could not make the trip to Spokane so the University of Idaho band showed up (they are about two hours from Spokane) in Yale shirts and played the part of the Yale band for the game. You can hear them playing the Yale fight song after the game ends.
As a University of Idaho graduate I’m feeling proud! Go Vandals! Way to represent.

Every time Yale tried to give this game away, Auburn gave it right back to them. Yale shouldn't have won, but this is why they call it #MarchMadness

Intentional fouls should be called as such. Why create unfair conditions for the team that has played well enough to have a late lead?
There's a shot clock to keep them from running out the clock and a 3-point line to enable the trailing team to inch back from a deficit [along with playing defense and getting rebounds].

2 days in a row, I was watching a game, this one and the KU game last night, it got to 20 seconds left and blank, no picture or sound. Just completely cut off right at the end. RUclips has my back!!!! Yes, I missed the block Samford had that was wrongly called a foul. I felt bad, and I am a KU fan who lives in Wichita Kansas. That was not how I wanted the Jayhawks to win. At least they had a chance to tie with a 3 and missed, so it wasn't totally on that horrible call. I actually picked KU to lose because McCullar was out and Dickinson was injured. I was close.
Looks like Yale was desperately trying to throw the game at the end.
