The game is actually very fun, the combat systems is very fun, engaging and extensive in its design there's a lot of cool features to be utilised and mastered while the narrative of the story is also pretty cool and interesting to say the least.

I love everything about this so far. This has a really old-school gaming feel to it from the gameplay, to the music playing, to the AI, and the system. This brings me back to so much nostalgia to Parasite Eve, Final Fantasy, and all sorts of games of the like. I love this so far! Tachy is my girl! Only a few minutes of her, but already in love with that woman...lol.

The Thumbnail gives me a chill on my lower leg.
At 17:15, you can climb that right side ledge to access parts from a robot. There's also a bench you can rest at.
This looks ABSOLUTELY AWESOME
I have a few remarks about what we're seeing now:
Suggested QOL fixes: The health and Shields bars should be either made solid, or have a brighter color. There were a few times when I had to look twice to see exactly where the shields were. And there should be a no-HUD mode during exploration, because the objective marker vomit can spoil the world's ambience.
Gameplay: I feel like this is a souls-lite, and borrows a lot more from Sekiro than Dark Souls/Nioh. In Dark Souls/Enden Ring, difficulty came from the fact that parries weren't instantaneous, and the unforgiving (but still reasonable) timing of the bosses, as well as stamina management. In the Nioh series, parries and dodges were instantaneous, but the bosses moved much more quickly, and there were an absolute overload of systems in Nioh 2 with tons of hidden mechanics.
However, here we have a mix of instantaneous parries, instantaneous dodges, no stamina management, and shield drain if the player does not parry at exactly the right time. Judging from what I can see, the bosses are significantly more forgiving and less frustrating than in Nioh 2 (though I can't really say till I play the game).
Graphics: Nothing revolutionary. Good-looking, and everything we've come to expect from AAA games.
Presentation: IGN and the culture-wars commentators blundered by trying to defy market forces. If they had just shrugged and said "it's not for me, and prim-and-proper gamers might not want to play this around kids", rather than condemning and insulting the developers in hopes of pressuring them into restricting the supply of attractive women on-screen, no one would be heckling IGN the way they are now. Telling men 'you should not want something' will make them respond in one or both of 2 ways:
a) They will say 'how is it our problem'?
b) They will look for more of this just because you told them not to.
Make a game like Horizon Zero Dawn or the Last of Us 2 with a character based on a flesh-and-blood woman, and if it does better, everyone will follow suit. Trying to restrict/pressure developers into not giving the market what they want only proves that the armchair critics were wrong, because they had to artificially restrict supply instead of showing everyone that the market wants more of what they claim they should want.
Examples of AAA games with strong female main characters:
1. Horizon Zero Dawn (I actually thought the fire-resistant armor was too revealing, because the whole point of flame-resistant armor is to NOT expose your skin to fire or burning substances. If I had gotten the PC version, I would have gotten a mod to cover up her midriff).
2. Horizon Forbidden West (Looking forward to play the PC version)
3. The Last of Us 1 (Ellie might not be a main character, but she's so central and beloved that she merits a mention here) and 2 (the body model for Abby was a real-life female bodybuilder, and if you get to play a significant portion of the game as her, she counts too)
4. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (I'm looking forward to play the PC version for this too)
5. Mass Effect 1-3 (I know more people play Broshep, but IMO, FemShep also counts, and I think her renegade lines are simply the best)

I was hoping that before Tachy died you’d get to play as her in a boss fight with an scripted death (as in you’re not supposed to beat the boss). Might’ve been more impactful that way
TBH its quite a good game. I mean there is only so much fanservice you can enjoy before it becomes repetitive. The gameplay and story is quite good. Really reminds me of Bayonetta

I just played the demo today. It has its fair share of difficulty. Eve and the game are beautiful to stare at. That being said, I'll be preordering the deluxe edition.
