Hi Steve, Fitted one of these In my van and It Is brilliant. We use 2" mattress toppers which we used to use In our caravan so nice and comfortable. Have you looked at getting an awning at all? If so can you recommend any? Thanks.

It is ideal, the guy is a fool removing it. R and R beds are best for that sized van. Bolt it in mate.
