Next you gotta do a run where every room you spin a wheel with a list of challenges to compelete and if you fail you gotta punish yourself somehow

I love challenge runs like this, I did one similar where I said "no using the extra DM mechanics (outside of bone pillars those are kinda necessary)" and also it was "you can only pick 9 items (total) throughout the run."
That one was hard because you have to decide a build and just pray you get it because there's no pivoting to new builds halfway through if you've already got 6/9. More than a few times I have been scrambling to reroll the final shop before Dad Fight to try to get SOMETHING that works. It also forced me to appreciate random items more because I had no choice but to use them.
I've never limited the amount I could spend but it turned out kinda similar based on this vid

But it is interesting how it makes such a difference with the meta progression.
I have finally 100% Skul: The Hero Slayer. Watching you and Haxa gave me alot of information and tips on the parts I couldn't succeed on right away. But the Dark Hero stood no chance! He stood actually a very good chance. But Mixed Damage Item damage run with Bone shield got me through it!

I always suspected Thor was all about the budget.
I think if you were gonna give yourself a budget you shouldve increased the number of item slots so you can be a little hoarder skul, very carefully using your money on things that anyone will have to pry from your cold dead hands
I still think Dark Dad DM 10 is one of the hardest bosses in any rogue game I have played. You can kind of guess what he is going to do but he often just does something else.

Beelz I don't know if you've tried it yet but the inscription dizziness is silly good with update and the items. It went from 2.5 to 5 seconds with inscription update. Tried Minotaur dm 10 and it was like easy mode. Crazier than frost skull.

I actually think treasure becomes more powerful in a run like this, especially because 4 treasure gives you the chance to get bones or items from the boxes effectively giving you more free items than you wouldve been able to get
It makes 2/4 treasure worthless and a lot of the items have bonus gold effects like the mask, incense burner, madallion and whip. 4/4 Treasure does give a chance for bones and items, but with no guarantee to get bones, and the fact the items could be ones you don't want (and you won't even get gold back as compensation) you'd have to hope and pray that 4 item slots + 4 items = 1-2 good items from lottery.
I dunno if this is an old request...but a run with more then 9 items allowed but you have to grab every item you find would be fun to see:)

While I do enjoy your content, I feel that shorter, more edited runs would be more enjoyable to watch. I don't always have time to watch an entire Skul run, and when I do, I just play Skul. I typically skip to the half way point of the video, then the Dark Skul and Alexander gauntlet and that's it. I do like that you did a special challenge on this run. Special challenges are entertaining because it is not just normal Skul, which I can play. Sometimes rigged runs are fun to watch, omen runs, just interesting runs that change it up, and shorter. My favorite video of yours was the rigged Ent run, called "Creating The Most Powerful Skull In The Game | Skul The Hero Slayer", so perhaps you could make more videos like those, if others agree with me. Also a full run with the Unknown Darkness glitch would be cool.
I used to do shorter more edited ones. But then the masses swarmed me with requests to leave the full thing in. I even asked about skipping act 1 which I used to do and the majority still want to see it. I get where you're coming from, don't get me wrong... but it's hard to find a nice middle ground. It's why i try to do those videos like the Glitch one, or the 9 items/99 items ones here and there. Or building teh strongest Skul, as shorter vids to help.
@@Beelz55 I get what you're saying. I've been around enough to see some people say to leave full runs in, that's why I included the "if others agree with me" part. The preference might be different based experience in Skul. I say just check your stats and see what gets more views/better viewer retention.

In my humble opinion you should use the dark quartz machine, just call it "crypt currency" and that is why you so broke. You invested in to many "Quartz coins, Cthulhu dollars, Suonisio's wonder won". "Won" is the south korean currency, so this can be added to the budget idea, you can make yourself a handicap like this. If needed ofc.

The video would end up being waaaaaaaaay too long. A defensive shield run can take over 2 hours and he has more damage than a bare naked Skul. People would end up tuning out after the 12 minute Yggdrasil fight. I tried doing teh hardest challenge back in the day, the Bare Bones run. No witch traits, no items, Skul only. Back in Early Access when this also meant no i-frames on dodge. Was hell.

can you do a hybrid run by rigging the dark abilities for the amp needed to make them work. like maybe a hybrid predator / water boy or dominator + blue new magic king ( not og prisoner king ) could be fresh and fun
to be fair, a normal run can give you at least like 30k gold
no fucking way I was just playing thor and thinking "oh imagine if beelz did a thor vid cuz I want to see him use the dlc skuls again starting with thor then officer" and then i come onto youtube and find you doing a thor run but with a tight budget bruh. Mind doing real thor with an actual build or officer next since i haven't seen you play him since the buffs (unless I missed a vid somewhere)

I noticed with thor you use the jump attack a decent amount, but at least from my experience his jump attack is kinda useless because it can't do the lighting strike
Also I think ground breaker does have concentration but just doesn't say it I think it's available at rare

yo beelz could you do an og run. just like zero DM with all the unlocks but you end the run at chimera. like ignore inscriptions like pretned they do nothing and ignore upgrading skulls , nvm that sounds stupid
What's the bonus of not taking the heal from bosses
Nothing, you just grab it if you need it. Only reason I sometimes wait to grab the heal from Yggdrasil is incase he drops the world tree seed. If I've already been hurt I can grab the seed, then take the heal he gives and start working on the seed.

My average run in DM10 net me an average of 40k (I screenshotted a few of my wins)
So maybe redo the challenge with 30k to make it more bearable lol

21:08 after trying some of the mythology skull, i felt like the berserker gloves is one of that must take for them as a lot of them needs atk speed, the scaling with less hp along with the revenge made it really good for their kind imo

I took a look at it. I think the main issue I'd run into is the fact it's online. Aussie net doesn't connect to other countries very well, leading to a very laggy time for all.
Does even the offline lobby mode require an online connection ? Otherwise this is a sad day for bunny games :c
