That "doubling" isn't from being struck twice. It's die degradation. The dies have been either improperly hardened or used far longer than they should have been. It's well known in the industry and amongst experienced collectors as to why that doubling occurs. A genuine doubled coin is created from the master hub and the working hub shifting slightly during the creation of the working hub. Genuine doubling is clean lined, whereas die degradation is rough. Check it under magnification.

@@Gumardee_coins_and_banknotes there are a lot to keep an eye peeled for. 2015 5c coins in particular. There are two errors that can be found on the 2015 5c but not together on the same coins though. One error is a die fill SD. That one is noticeable straight up and there are two different shapes to the die fill. The other is die clash. That one isn't as noticeable so you'll need a good magnifyer. Look for a small arc in the bottom left field of the paw of the echidna. If I could post photos I could show you what to look for. Both are reasonably common so you should find some easily. There's also a die clash 10c coin to look for. You'll see a reverse image of QEII forehead, eye and nose profile in between the 1and 0 of the reverse. 👍. 😉

My Channel pic has the same Error Coin👌.. I started to find this 2007 error couple months back in coin rolls.. Collected more than enough coins to see how the doubling error progressed to a slightly double to an unrecognisable emu's feet.. Anyways mate, im abit shy on uploading vids on my coin finds..
