    Always pay attention to a video having "don't hit yourself in the teeth" in the title! And then the earnest explanation *why* you don't want that!😆😆👌👌

      Same, it's got to the point...."Is this about clubbells again ?" !

      Personally, I hate being convinced of stuff. The person who is most convincing to me is the one who just shuts up and does it, letting me judge for myself.

    Love this series, thanks Mark! I started your mill/squat program recently and these videos are extremely helpful in learning the component parts of the exercises in that program.

    I have a couple of clubs now and incorporate them into my strength training program. They are fun, and different, and that makes them interesting. Love to learn a new exercise to add to my training. Can't wait for more.

      My big revelation was seeing the complementary relationships among the kettlebell, heavy club, and mace.

    So sad that it is kind of impossible to get an adjustable Adex Club here in Germany.
    After doing kettlebell stuff the last two years I am eager to start with heavy clubs.
    Big thanks for this series Mark!

    Nice :)
    Does anyone use the dead-clean to get club into order ( right amount power from hips to control ) but use the swing back down as easier for the auld wrists & elbows ?

    Mark, does the slight twist in alignment in order to keep both arms straight mean that I should do equal numbers of left- and right- variants? Also, note to self: stop club before face.

    Can you switch the hand closer to the knob/end of the handle? Just curious if you can train the slight spinal rotation going both ways.

  • @williammiller673

    Question, Mark: From about 2:10 to 2:45 it appears that when you lower the club you're guiding it out over your long side forearm at a slight angle from your midline, and then re-centering it before it reaches the ground. Is that correct? If so, is that to reduce the torque to your wrists that you'd get by letting the club fall straight forward? Or am I seeing things? Thanks.

    • @MarkWildman
      @MarkWildman  Год назад +3

      You are correct. Is this video worthy?

    • @byrond123
      @byrond123 Год назад

      @@MarkWildman yes this video is great! In one of your other videos, maybe for the mill squat, you do more of a club swing similar to a kb swing to get the club up. Is that a more advanced technique or just a different technique?

  • @shantanusapru

    Also, isn't this/shouldn't this be "Heavy club 5" instead of 4?
    I think no. 4 was something like "does high grip hand matter for low to high side swings", posted a few days back...?
    Although I can't seem to find that video now........

    • @cioran1754
