Merci Raphaël. J'ai en effet beaucoup de chance d'habiter à 300 mètres de l'endroit ou cette vidéo a été tournée. Un kilomètre me sépare de l'autre rive du lac qui fait 9 km de long. Au sommet de la forêt qui se trouve en face, à environ 3km à vol d'oiseau, c'est la France ! On est donc voisin. ;)
I am about to build a steam paddle boat. Your boat is exactly what I have in mind. Pease could you give me details of the length and width of your hull, the diameter and RPM of your paddle wheels and the motor you are using. Are you using a belt drive, a chain drive or a gear drive? I apologise for enquiring in English but my French language skills are not good.
Hello The length of the hull is 112cm and the maximum width is 23.5cm. The total width including the wheel covers is 41cm. The diameter of the wheels is 17 cm. The machine is a horizontal oscillating twin cylinder (as on the real one) of 4.2cm3. It is a Regner machine. I have a gear transmission (again as on the real one) with a reduction of 1/3. The wheels turn between 80 and 130 rpm for realistic navigation. With my cordial greetings. Gégé
