Hi Melody. If you want to see GP bikes you would love it. Its near your area in Markham or Whitby. Or if you want to see more bigger stores then I invite you in Mississauga and then we will go to surrounding areas where we can buy anything related to bikes. Come have some ride, look our beautiful countryside roads and have fun with our riders group.
Subscribed. Can you make a new video on some motorcycle insurance hacks you may have learned about since the video from last year. I was quoted 4500 for a Ninja 400 from TD on an M2.
Hi! I just recently got a motorcycle myself and I'm in my twenties. Here's some info for Toronto/GTA riders: Some hacks that you are in direct control of are the shopping around for insurance and the model of your bike. Heavy insurance factors are history, age (under 25 is very expensive), gender, license level AND whether or not you completed a safety course. I recommend you look at Riders Plus' website. They have a nice quote tool that lets you play around with so you are well informed before even buying a bike. I don't recommend going to big banks like TD, as they collect way more info than Riders Plus and give a worse quote offers (in my experience). EDIT: gender factor
@@MelodyCamposMotorcycleLife I have a friend that works at desjardin. She said that if you have auto insurance existing atm, OR have a clean history that can greatly decrease your rates. If you drove on your parent's insurance as a kid, get a Letter Of Experience (LOE) that onlines your insurance record and show your new insurer for your bike. Other thing is, if you are young and using the bike as your main mode of transport, it will be expensive regardless. Also, if you have access to an underground garage it's a lot better. Street parking also contributes quite heavily to costs. Personally: desjardin, 28M, clean history, Full G + M2, auto insurance since 2016 till now. Bike as secondary vehicle, 2020 Yamaha MT-03, $2100 for the year
Also to add to the other comments, the model year and make of your bike also greatly increases your prices. Ninja 400s get wrecked all the time, so insurance companies red flag these types of bikes. More than likely you're going to outgrow the 400 in 1 maybe 2 seasons. If you get an older, CBR250 and practice until you get your full M, your prices will be a lot cheaper then, you will be older, and have a clean insurance record. Just some advice I was given by a few of my older rider friends.
Hi Melody, I've been watching all your videos, thank for you taking the time to may these videos and explain everything, what cc do you recommend for first time motorcycle buyers?
