I got this palette for $3.18 at Ulta, because I had like 1100 rewards points which covered most of the cost. 0.18 on the tax lol. It pays to shop at ulta! Their point system, you actually get good stuff. Unlike sephora (which i also have a ton of points) you just get to get a few sample sized items

I bought it before seeing mixed reviews about it. Guess I can make it work and the way you did it makes the palette look so pigmented! Maybe I just need an eye primer.

TrinaDuhra I love that you explain where to place and with way to trun the brush.no one on here really gets into the technique of applying the color.
can I be honest, I guess so far from all the beauty guru I ever watched you used the most 'little/less different kind of brushes' to do all different parts of your eyes in this video! Well most of 'gurus' I guess used "10 different types" of brushes or more just for this kind of tutorial and I guess you really showed how well you can do your eye shadow just by using less then 3-4 brushes! You are the real BEAUTYGURU.

Oh god!! THIS WAS THE BEST TUTORIAL FOR THIS PALETTE THAT I HAVE SEEN - THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU - I WANT IT SO BADLY, NOW!!! The colors are gorgeous when applied and a little goes such a lonngggg way!! I was HOPING you'd change your mind and use Bombshell just to bring out more depth in your crease and omg you did! It was BEAUTIFUL. LOL Until you added that brown shade - eekk, the eye look became dramatic and heavy ....but still, it was a joy watching how each shade played out!! THANK YOU!!! Augh I keep coming back to watch this video because I want this palette so bad. I love those purples, browns, and a smoky shades, this palette would be so perfect for me.. You make it look SO good!!!
Edit: finally got it and it's everything. Not crazy pigmented but it's buildable and perfect for beginners. Love the shades in each color story and using it close to everyday. I love this palette 💜🎨🖤

I have ever tarter palette imaginable and I love my Original Tarte Tartelette Palette easily the most, so I bought 3! Love your looks and love that you get them done with like 3 brushes, bravo, as a pro make up artist I sometimes use 6 brushes just for eyeshadow looks, you go girl, would love to see some looks with the Tarte Pro Palette!!!!

Wow thats actually beautiful. Ive been debating on getting it cause im a huge shimmer fan and didnt think id like doing all matte eyeshadow looks but id buy just for this one alone! Definitly going for it now and its actually a pretty good price as well, (for anyone who buys higher end makeup and knows some of the ridiculous prices that is haha)

thank god I found you! I loved this video! I recently heard a well known youtuber saying that this palette didnt blend and didn´t pigment enough! and i said to myself... probably because of the swatching they do with the fingers!!!... don´t they know our finger tips are naturally greasy and when u push your finger into the shadows you can compress and leave the grease there making it hard to pigment and blend? anyway... you are beatiful and i´m your new fan xoxo

this was very helpful! I just got this today at Ulta and when I got home I saw if I'd waited till tomorrow I could have gotten a free primer with it - oh well! They only had 5 left in the store so I wasn't going to risk waiting. Will definately be playing with this tomorrow. UPDATE - 5 months later...every now and then I drag this thing out and try to make it work but I just don't like it....

Thanks for the tutorial but what I learned was that you need to have the identical palette by tartelette i.e. "force of nature" "multi-tasker" etc, it doesn't work unless you can interact with the colors as stated. That said, I don't have the right tartelette that coordinates with this. I have the "in bloom" and the "juicy" palettes.
Trina please tell me what kinda lights do you use for your videos and I keep watching this video over and over I gotta have that palette now thanks to you! 😝

for me, I didn't really like this palette as it was splottchy and was not very pigmented unless I really pack my brush which is such a disappointment because I really liked these colours, especially the purple and the sandy colour

I feel the same way! I just bought both pallette from the tartelette set and i freaking hate them! they are difficult to blend and when you do it looks like MUD. Going back tomorrow. So disappointed.

The dark purples..are.. Patchy to say the least. But If I was stuck on a desert island. And I could only have one Tarte palette. This would prob be my fave.

Ness Mendiola Honestly, I use all sorts of brushes. I'm thinking I might do a brush collection video so stay tuned for that :) But in this video I used a blending brush from royal and langnickel and a slmissglam eyeshadow brush.

Idk it didnt work for me. Worst palette i ever tried :/ all the colors pretty much turn into the same color for me and arent very pigmented & are hard to blend
