Definitely get your hazmat currently hauling mud drilling chemicals to the rigs out here in west Texas/New Mexico area you can easily bring in 3k-4K in a week
I got hazmat , tanker, doubles&triples and passengers and i can’t even get a job in Florida i applied to 87 different companies and the only ones responding offer 600 -1000 a week which is not worthy for so much risk and 70 hours of work , trucking is dead in many states but Florida is definitely the worst. I’ll definitely save money and leave this sh!thole .
I got a hazmat 2 years ago in Florida. There are plenty of online free courses and also you can get book at the local library to study from. This for CDL-A endorsements in general. Then you take the test, pass and the DMV will fingerprint you. Then wait 6 weeks about, and if background checks out you get the hazmat on your CDL-A In Florida cost is $125.00
Man I recommend you 100 % to come to work for Voltagrid at midland, hauling Compressed Natural Gas, it’s the easiest job “ ever “, 32 per hour 48 over time, 12 to 14 hours per day, 5 weeks on 1 week off, 10 % of bonus of all the gros you make in the year, there are a lot of people from El Paso here in the company, 👍,
Bro what are the goods and the bad of getting a hazmat in west texas some videos i see on youtube say its not worth it then some videos i see say its worth it , some people say its alot of responsibility for example if you go down the wrong road you can get a ticket and you cant go into the city, and you cant go by a overpass bridge, then to top it of i smoke cigarettes smh but if you can tell me about it id really appreciate it
In West Virginia if you’ve had Haz-Mat in the past, no course is required before taking endorsement test. Not sure if it’s like that in other states. I haul condensate oil at $35.00 an hour and OT after 40 hours.
You are correct on the process to get your hazmat endorsement tho if you drive for like Schneider you can take the class thru them free of charge I just got mine last month that way
North dakota pays more, but not much and winters can be 7 months and deadly. Last year i broke down and there was a 60 below zero windchill and i had no phone signal.
Got my all my endorsements, and got that call the other day saying to come on down because they are hiring but I'm scared because I heard the roads can tear your truck up 😔
Owner operators are making 14 Grand a week up here in North Dakota I sold my truck almost a year ago, a T680 would not work well here, I used it a short time in midland for sandbox didn't like it too many miles driving a day with that heavy box
In the process of getting hazmat now, but only got 8 months driving experience, I’ve been going back and forth between driver and mechanic, unfortunately mechanic just ain’t paying the bills. but was curious as to how to find jobs out there with little experience driving.
Try indeed first if not just taking a drive up to a job fair in Midland may be worth a shot. Or an oilfield jobs page on Facebook, managers always post on those
Seemed as the Pennsylvania does not have a course requirement. Just take the endorsement test and you pay for FBI background check and 8 to 14 weeks later if you pass you'll have your hazmat endorsement
I have 4 years of tractor trailer experience. Driven Agriculture doubles. Dry Van trailers ‘53 &’28. Yesterday day applied for TWIC and Hazmat endorsement testing. Question is, do I need exp as a hazmat driver in order to work as a hazmat driver?
This one I’m driving? I tell you what not sure what it is about pipe but every load I’ve done has been heavy on the trailer, no matter how close I load to the nose. But yeah potholes are an issue, if you go faster you kind of glide over top! Lol JK
Hello man ! please tell me, if I don’t have hazmat experience, how much will the company start paying me per week? and how much total time do they give per week?
Without experience probably around 25 to 30 depending on the company. I remember being paid 20 an hour in 2018, rates have went up quite a bit since then. They will definitely max your clock out no matter what.
@@WeroLocoTrucking Got my hazmat and tanker endorsement anyways. Haha. Now building experience, what companies treat employees the best. Don’t wanna do otr longer than I have too.
I got my CDL and endorsements in 2019 but have barely driven a truck since. If I want to drive in the oil field, do I need to get some driving experience elsewhere like OTR first? Thanks
I think some recent experience would be very helpful! OTR or regional would be ideal, even if you could get on to a local hazmat company would be great!
Definitely get your hazmat currently hauling mud drilling chemicals to the rigs out here in west Texas/New Mexico area you can easily bring in 3k-4K in a week

Please name some companies, thanks in advance!
That’s not bad!

Is the drilling department hard in the vacuum truck?

I saw a company in Georgia that wants flatbed equipment haulers and is willing to train.

Another great informative video. Good luck on the trip to Utah.

I just got my CDL got a job offer to haul water but Im gonna start on that hazmat asap and get back out of WV

A hazmat class? Here we just show up to the DMV and take a test

Absolutely! They are very rough, just take it easy. Slow and steady!

I bet you had the MX 13 under the hood.. I would've gotten rid of that too😂

Did you find a company ?
Nope not yet. Still looking
Its more ease if you start or apply hauling water (vacum truck driver) to get experience first its my opinion good luck !
Just curious, what the company you used to haul fuel for? Love the videos keep it up..
I hauled Fuel for Texas Pride Fuels back in 2018

Not necessarily, but experience does help. Depends on the company.
How do those trucks handle the pot holes in the road? Do you feel it in your back with every one?

What are the name of the companies in texas that pay 30hr plus for tanker and hazmat?
Just saw your comment. TEXAS Pride fuels, Nextier and Indeca were all hiring 29 to 32 an hour. Or so they say 🤔

Should I get my hazmat before completing my cdl class. While I still have my permit or wait till after
I wouldn’t, most hazmat companies require 6 months driving experience before hiring. I’d wait till you gain some experience then get it.

Man I’m stumped on that one! Most companies require you to be 21. I’d try finding someone local you could do local work with until your 21
I've got all the endorsements, working on getting experience right now. Your costs on getting hazmat are right about what I paid in IA.

Nice! It definitely helps keeping the options open! You should be good to do anything after a year of experience!
