Dream Odyssey - Vastness

In the vastness of the universe we can imagine anything we want, since space exploration is still in its infancy we can expect everything, from the greatest fantasies to the greatest delusions.
Is our Universe all that exists or is it part of an even vaster system that we still know nothing about?
The question points towards an immense vastness, an infinite space in all directions, which our capabilities will never be able to encompass in its entirety.
Contrary to what one might think, the concept of infinity is not a merely mathematical or philosophical question; when thinking and studying the concept of infinity we are not just exercising our mind. In practice, understanding infinity is important so that we can move towards a better understanding of time, space, matter and energy!
