We were talking about Mustangs or something. But that's not a great title. Netgear likes Thunderbirds or "Cope Mustangs" as they're better known.
False, there is no such thing as a "Mexican Master Roshi" because as we all know Dragon Ball Z is a strictly Mexican IP and therefore he is Mexican by default, making Netgear a distant relative of Goku
A cougar that doesn't smell like cigarettes is like an angel without wings
Feed the type of guy to look at a Chevy SS and say “should of bought a Corvette”

Uhaul livery kind of goes hard af I actually like it
“For 19.95 you can rent this Mother Fucker”
Paulsohard did it first, nobody gives him credit and everyone is copying his idea
I know this aint the community to share this in but screw it. I am a Mark Martin fanboy from the 90s and that scheme with the decals is almost a perfect recreation of his 1992 scheme going off the contingency decals. I also happened to meet Mark this weekend and I unironically think he'd like this channel. One of the coolest dudes you'll ever meet. Hes also a boomer from the deeeeep south who loves rap to the point hes acknowledged in the rap community. What a friggin guy.
Gucci Mane!
For Netgear: in 1991 / 1992 Ford made an exceptionally rare V8 performance Thunderbird called the "Sport". It's so rare in 1991 that its only known to exist by its PEP152A package designator and a handful of survivors. There are a few more 1992 Sports, but there were only liks 2500 built. IIRC about 200 were built in 1991.
The Sport transfers over the supercoupe's AOD gearing, springs & shocks, sway bars, 3.08 diff, adds an upgraded (but non SC) interior, sport gauge cluster (SC with voltmeter instead of boost gauge), and you get the 5.0 with a "Sport" tuned ECM.
You can tell a 1991 is a Sport by the red stripe and Sport badge. If you ever see one, buy it make some videos about it, and sell it for whatever you want. There's only a handful left in existence, and good ones only come up for sale once every 3 to 5 years.
Anyway, happy hunting.
Forgot to mention they also come with a different steering rack, leather wrapped steering wheel, they sit lower, larger brakes, and a few other little goodies
There's good rare. And bad rare. That car is bad rare it was a dud
@AlphaFlight you don't know that because you've never driven or owned one. It was never even advertised in the ford brochure for 91, and people still argue to this day over whether it ever even existed, or if it was a phantom development car.
Just work for a 5.0 and you’ll be happier than having a cope stang. Work for what you want boys. Keep up the content CCF💪🏻
The Capri fox body is way better looking imo
At this point the 4.6 and old 5.0 will be fine for most lol
i have a 4.6 and wish i had a 5.0
@@akimbo.1887like someone please tell these guys that 4.6 is the most expensive cheap engine to build in the world
@@rubberwoody Yuck! You can keep that opinion, sir!
I drove a 94 cougar in High School, it was a fun car. Had the V6, it was a sweet ride. I miss it sometimes.
I rode a '79 cougar in my early 20's, but it was more morbid curiousity than anything else. 136lb chassis, retrofitted with DDs, white livery. Overall a sweet ride, just too much plastic on it for my taste.
😎
@@DeletiriumHey as long as there’s still some tread on the tires.
I love my Thunderbird. $2500, 64k miles and 215hp. Couldn't ask for much more.

Been seeing a lot of really clean and LOUD SN95 mustangs running around these days...
Right here!! New Edge but SN95 nonetheless!!
Can you imagine some cool little hot hatch decked out in a U-haul wrap? People would be too confused to race. You'd be at speed before they figured out what they were looking at, and why...
Same here and 05-09 S197 retro body style
@@NewEdgeDesignsI had an 03 last year that had an obnoxious x pipe lol. I miss that car and will have another New Edge GT soon
@@Michael_Ruiter That’s the cycle, everyone that sells theirs always misses it and wants another one.. I’ve also made that mistake several times, this is my 6th SN95.. And I just bought a Sonic Blue GT I’m working on, on the side.
Glad you guys went over some v8 cars, imo 2000s GTOs are a great cheap v8 car to build, and no one expects them for the most part.
If you live where it snows don't leave them e-brake on because it will freeze in place
I had a Lincoln mark viii and that thing slapped, 290ish hp 4.6 Dohc for 700$. Had a spaceship comfy interior. All ya gotta do is replace the air suspension with thunderbird suspension.
The thunderbird was on a different platform by the 90s (moved from fox) but the super coupe was fast for its time
Rust City just missed the cut for the first mixtape
damn thats a sundown scv series amp in that little backseat window on that pompo compo
A fridge did NOT fit in a element
Maybe the real fridge is the Element we drove along the way.
Only 27 views in a minute. Sold out
Icy Hot Stuntaz lmaooo, haven't heard that reference in a minute lol. I definitely thought it was stunnaz too
My first car was as a '78 Thunderbird. It was great for LARPing the "Sabotage" music video. Terribly comfortable and now you need a truck to intimidate people like you could with that thing. The girl I sold it to totalled a Mercedes that pulled out in front of her without sustaining any damage. There's nothing like swinging the rear end out in something that big.
any car is a drag car if you believe hard enough
True
what if instead of Ford Motor Company it was.... Cope Motor Company
I saw that Foxbody in the El Paso FB Marketplace ads (I just moved here from NC) and it was tempting to go check it out in person.
SN95’s about to get that CCF price bump as a Foxbody cope.
That Mark Markin livery was my favorite growing up as a Mark Martin fan. Way better than the Viagra car.
That valvoline Thunderbird was for sale a few years ago for $1,200 in midland mi. Was trying to buy it but got sold before I could make a move on it. Crazy the new owner thinks he can get that much for it. Pristine examples max out at $4000
Dude I daily drove one of those Escort GT with the 5 speed, it was a blast to drive!
Dude get the SN98! I have the 1999 first year of the PI Heads mild build from 260hp to 321hp runs amazing 0-60 on sticky tires 4.7 seconds automatic with 3k stall been running for a decade with this build 84k miles now ans still runs perfectly
You don't want a t-bird, you want a Lincoln mark7 which had the all aluminum 4.6 double overhead cam same as the 2001 mustang cobra. It was 300hp I think.
It IS possible to remove an engine AND transmission from a 86 foxbody in the parking lot at oreillys on borrowed tools. AND leave the shell free of charge
I still think the Cobra R is the most badass Mustang ever sold through a Ford dealership.
1991 ford escort GT has the same 1.8 liter out of the miatas and can be tuned the same ways. its literally just a front wheel drive miata
Always thought the 5speed SC birds were cool but they are not worth the cost to buy and maintain. Netgear and Feed the Terry Stafford Amarillo By Morning is the better version btw.
Anecdote alert. The 2 people I’ve known who had a SC, the Eaton super chargers churn up into metal dust and turn it into a lawn ornament.
I daily drive a 94 escort wagon with the 1.9L engine, the problem with these cars is how hard it is to source some key components. I started having transmission issues and it’s easy to work on sure, but no trans shop would touch it, I had to source secondhand parts myself and it was a nightmare finding what I needed.
As well these have early ford diagnostics nonsense on them which is known to cause a lot of weird computer issues.
Always take the Mercury version over the Ford. Especially the Tracer and the Grand Marquee. Cougar always had a longer wheelbase than the Stang-her Banger.
My friend just bought that mustang with the U-Haul livery!!!! It sounds so good it's a cammed 4.6 sounds great
It's midnight and I'm pretty certain I've just woken up neighbours with some bass boosted Ace Hood 😭
hard pass on driving an auto cougar, what's the point?
The Lincoln Mk7 or Mk8 are one of the cheapest v8’s you can make a drag car
I really liked the 1991 Ford Thunderbird
Toyota has red guts in the newer Camrys, the pearl white with the black out trim XSE's are super Hot in that combo
I had a 1996 Thunderbird with two 15's in the trunk and 6 Rockford Fosgate 5x7 as my first car in 2007. Had it for a few years and loved it but it completely fell apart and I had to get rid of it
The Mercury cougar and 4th Thunderbird had IRS the '98 and Cobras also have IRS IRS. It's just that the live axle handles more power if you put a coyote or L.S in there
Depending on weight, 200-350 horsepower is all anyone ever needs. Much more than 350 and you're either in a boat or you're scaring your mom.
Have vehicles 200-380. I pretty much agree. In my pickups I care a lot more about torque. Same in the boat.
Those 10th gen T-birbs are living rent-free in my head and I don't care if they're copestangs or not, Imma get one Soon™️
Hello fellow GMT800 enjoyers
GMT830 or nothing!
My mom drove a cougar and smoked but she worked at a Waffle House.
is know one gonna talk about how he stretched the gas nozzle across to the other side of the car
me and by buddys have a 1991 ford escort gt for our lemons racing car its pretty nice tbh
into is SO LOUD, i love it
Thanks for the intro you shits! Scared the crap out of me, my sound bar went HAM. lol bring back sailor moon! 😂
i love the defense of the mn12 chassis. thank you netgear
In before donut media steals this content
Netgear’s having his poor taste arc with the Thunderbird build.
those escort gts are a blast literally a go kart on the street
If you can stomach becoming a "mustang owner" the later '90s cobras are still a nice deal right now (this comment might ruin that) the '99/'01 cobras can be fun too since they still got the early IRS (which stock is like driving a bouncy house but good bushing kits from Steeda/Qa1 etc. aren't that expensive) and if you can snatch an '04 Mach 1 (my current financial mistake) they revised the heads a bit, the cams from the '99/'01 cobra "drop in" and raise the power band a bit higher (they come with more or less F150 cams otherwise lmao), and they can be made to LOVE boost (just don't think its a terminator.. 'cause they ain't even close) but they can be pretty rev happy and the blocks hold up well IF you build it right and catch the little things Ford messed up... timing chain tensioners/guides I'm looking at you... and as always... avoid the autos... they are built like glass. All of these cars came with some sort of Tremec manual transmissions and they're totally fine, but if you want to drop in something like a T56 it's only maybe an evening or a weekend with a few beers. Hope this helps someone out! o7
The tremec TR3650s from 01-04 are "fine" but the first three years do have design flaws in the forks and synchros. Also not cheap to rebuild and the forks and input shafts tend to be weak points if you make power. But you can buy em cheap because people toss them on marketplace when they do upgrade to a T56. Putting one together that's goin in my Grand Marquis
ok so 99-01 cobra is different than the terminator (03-04), trems have built bottom ends made by manley and it has the supercharger
Fun fact: the Cougar has IRS, so in that way it's superior to the Mustang, just needs some help in the power and gearing departments.
Those escort GTs have the BP. Same engine in the NA/NB Miata, 323 GTX, and Protege
Just mounted in the intended way and FWD.
8:00 a 5.0 bird is a lot of car for much less than a 5.0 fox but the later-model 4.6 birds are more or less equal in price and competency to an auto sn95 GT
a foxbody lx comes in both hatchback and notchback
Right but the people want the notch
@@CollectorCarFeed I was just commenting because netgear seemed confused
Unironically I have been looking for an SN95. Hard to find around me, especially for the price I want to pay, but would love to be able to get one. The Uhaul gt is actually seriously awesome haha
That valvoline thunderbird has been forsale for years. I think it’s swapped hands a dozen times and nobody keeps it for more than six months.
16:09 we just gonna gloss over the fact that the stang had a massive “VTEC” sticker across the front?
That U-Haul mustang was hard 😂
Holy shit the intro song scares the shit outta me every time cause it's so loud
The xr7 is the I sell meth ride.
Sc400 , spitronic ecu audi coil conversion and a turbo kit makes 800+ could build it for less than 5k 837$ standalone ecu and engine harness
On that ford escort interior “they don’t make em like that anymore” yeah thank god 💀😂
Cringe opinion. Those are the same as the 323 and protege Mazda, with a Miata engine and FWD. Ford in Name only. These are Japanese sport coupes
@@glurak888bro that doesn’t make the interior any less ugly. And the outside is also equally ugly. 😂😂😂
8:00 - that car is COMPLETELY different from a fox body OR an SN95...
Those t birds are built on the HEAVY, JUNKY, IRS, MN12 platform
Uhual sn95 is hot (as an sn95 guy)
I love how the hood is fucked with no a/c in new mexico but they took the time to shine the wheels, theyre really trying to get rid of that car 😂 out of pitty id offer them $1000 and flip it in the rustbelt
Pls, save the SN95's.
The first Koenigseggs also had crown vic motors Netgear...
Lol featuring crowd control mode on that sn95 uhaul. Isn't the LX foxbody a 4cyl?

Yo i love the vids, but get rid of the bassboosted ear rape at the beginning. Was funny the first time, not the 8th.
oh, ..my gawd do i hate to comment... but Atlas has something there... 'the Panther Platform' was the crown vic, the mercury marauder, the lincoln town car, and the xr you were looking at... say it with me... cop engine, cop brakes, cop suspension, and parts [except body] for a long ass time... and i HATE FORDS!!! with a passion... but @RoadAtlas was right.
Yeah I hate ford usually but panther cars are just phenomenal by every metric.
