I started praying the rosary 1 month ago. I was desperate for God but didn’t believe yet that he was real. I laid in bed one night and said to God that if he was real, to please show me. I told him that if he was real, then I would leave my whole way of life behind and follow him in everything I do for the rest of my life. I was struggling with gender dysphoria (I thought I was trans) and I’ve lived as a lesbian for over 10 years. I started praying the rosary everyday because I figured it couldn’t hurt to try. A week after starting the rosary and praying it everyday, I found myself stumbling into a traditional Latin Mass service at 7am in the morning before the sun was even up in Sacramento CA. I didn’t know why I was there but I sat in the very back and couldn’t stop staring at this little flickering candle lit and held above everyone at the very front of the church. My eyes were fixated on it and all the sudden I was overcome with a flood of emotions and just started to bawl my eyes out. The level of intensity was almost unbearable but not in a bad way. It was like I was being held and in an instance I knew without a shadow of a doubt that God was real, and I had no explanation for it. I just knew. I had never felt more loved than in that moment. A week later I started catechism. I haven’t stopped praying the rosary. I’ve prayed it everyday since starting and now I attend adoration and Latin mass every week too. I found out a bit later that the flickering candle meant that Jesus was present in the church. It blew my mind. I never in a million years thought I would be following Christ. Please, anyone who sees this, continue to pray for me as I only hope for the strength and courage to follow Gods will for my life no matter what cross I have to bear to do so. I just want to know God more everyday.
bless your beautiful heart, surrendering yourself to the loving will of God. Our mother Mary is calling us all, and I too want to surrender, its a daily challenge to humble myself. Consecrate yourself to Mary according to the instructions of St. Louis de Montfort. Jesus gave Himself completely to Mary, starting his human life in her womb. He asks us to do the same. I will pray for you Nancy, please pray for me, a recovering addict.
Sending lots of hugs and love. God bless and protect you and your family, God bless your guardian Angels with greater strength and diligence, all this I pray in Jesus' Holy Name, Amen
@@cnote3598 Only if I can bum one off of you haha, I’m dead serious, objectively speaking more time has been spent across the globe praying the rosary for peace than has been spent in war by a factor of 10x at least. Now, maybe you can write it off as mumbo jumbo, well meaning nonsense…but then there’s the evidence that reality presents us which paints a picture where the Catholic influence on the world has been the greatest of any cultural movement to date. Not that numbers grants you the claim to truth automatically, but in the absence of sound evidence to reject the claim, then the consensus that millions of people have been praying to Mother Mary for millennia and seem to have found more peace and goodwill than any other social, political, religious, or technological evolution.
@@ErinAbou grow up. Religious dogmatic nonsense comments like this make Christians look stupid. You pray. I'll pass the ammunition. Christians throughout history rely on others who aren't dogmatic to defend their lands, while the Christians open them up to invaders b/c of their pathological altruism. Don't get too carried away with symbolism and metaphors. Remember, they're just symbols and metaphors. It's a trick. Don't fall for it too hard.
Yes I agree,Tammy is very gentle and listening to her pray she feels the words and meditating on the life of Jesus birth through to His death on the cross, it’s a powerful love story and we his children are a part of this heritage.... how interesting her ancestor loved our Blessed Mother, her prayers went before her.....If you attend Holy Mass also you feel halfway to heaven,Jesus in the Eucharist is truely present for us ,we take all our thoughts words and actions.....our life ......Thank you Jesus,Mary and Joseph...Amen....
Blessed objects are called sacramentals and protects us it’s not suspicious or magic....The miraculous medal is my joy, google and learn about it also. Blessed.....Amen....
After being away from the church I have returned to the rosary in hopes of coming back to faith. I hope anyone can please pray one bead for me and my kids.
@@TammyPetersonPodcast Thank you but I do not feel comfortable putting our names out hence the "gumdrop". I am trying to get the courage to get back to the church despite not being supported and find a way for my kids and I to get to a better place then where we are now. Thank you.
Travelling from Australia about 5 years ago to South America, I casually collected rosaries from various churches. I was not a practising Catholic (and very LAPSED) and had never said the rosary in my life. I thought the rosaries were a beautiful piece of jewellery and hung them up on my bedroom wall as an ornament. Little did I know that in 2023 I would return to the Catholic faith and say a daily rosary. It has made a huge difference to my peace of mind and life. I am very, very grateful. The Blessed Virgin was waiting all along. Cudos to her!
I'm not Catholic but your conversion and miracle plus gentle soul have strongly peaked my interest in the Rosary. I'm going to start learning all I can about it. Thank you for sharing.
@@TheYorkie2Sorry but the rosary is not sacramental. The Sacraments are Baptism, Confirmation, Communion, Confesion, Matrimony, Priesthood and Last Rites.
@@anairenemartinez165 My apologies, but you are the one who is mistaken. Sacramentals are sacred signs by which effects, especially spiritual effects, are signified in some imitation of the sacraments and are obtained through the intercession of the Church. (Code of Canon Law 1166) Sacraments are efficacious signs of grace, instituted by Christ and entrusted to the Church, by which divine life is dispensed to us, see CCC 1131 and CCC 1084. While there is a link between them, they are not the same. Sacramentals can be divided into six groups based on purpose: orans for public prayer, liturgical or private, such as chanting; tinctus, the application of holy water or oils (unctions); edens, blessing of foods; confessus, the general avowal of faults recited at Mass, Communion, and the Divine Office; dans, better known as alms; and benedicens, papal and episcopal blessings of items such as candles, salt, ashes, and palms. The Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC) has identified three distinctions among sacramentals: blessings, exorcisms, and forms of piety and devotions. Forms of piety and devotion are tremendously important to the life of a Catholic-not because they replace the liturgy, but because they extend it. These are sacramentals that belong to religious and the laity, such as the full brown scapular of a Carmelite nun or the small brown scapular worn by pious lay Catholics. In this category, we also find the vast majority of recognizable devotions and items belonging to these such as the stations of the cross, the crucifix, and the rosary.
My mother is an alcoholic and not emotionally available. Mrs. Peterson, you have been a very effective example in showing me how to surrender and be vulnerable at the feet of Christ. Thank you.
Hi Grace. Warm greetings from Australia 🦘 I know what it's like this be an "orphan". I am going to add you to my prayer list and pray for you and your mother. You might also care to pray to St Jude and do a novena for your mother's conversion. Nothing is impossible and God works in mysterious ways. Take care and God bless you.
Mrs. Peterson, No words can express how happy I am to see you teaching fellow Catholics/Christians about how to use the rosary properly. Your spiritual journey has inspired me to continue to learn more about the Ancient Catholic Traditions and to be more dedicated in my faith. You and your entire family are truly a blessing! Looking forward in seeing more of your content :)
I’m happy you made a choice to dedicate your life. That’s a gem in this current wokeism world. That said, I do think having “Catholics/Christian” is a bit of a confusion. Everyone who lives by the bible know all too well that Catholicism and Christianity aren’t the same in doctrine, order and beliefs. Just wanted to clear the air on that…. I could elaborate more on this should I get the opportunity.
What a beautiful video.I am not Catholic but I can see were this practice would bring you closer to Christ to meditate on him and all that he has done for everyone who believes. This video has caused me to think deeply about the role of the church and the rituals of the church. Thank you for sharing this.
Mark 12:34 And when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.” And after that no one dared to ask him any question.
Thank you so much Mrs. Peterson for being willing to be thrust into the public life alongside your immensely important husband. For context I’m a 40-something married Catholic man who converted at a young age from a Protestant denomination, estranged from my mother in adulthood (for reasons unrelated to religion and still was at the time of her death in 2020). The thing I wanted to express such gratitude for is the maternal and paternal love and care that so evidently flows from you and Dr. Peterson. I can’t even express how much it affects me to simply listen to your voice and hear the sweet kindness combined with strength while I can listen to Dr. Peterson and hear that fatherly sternness combined with genuine concern. The utter lack of pretentiousness as you have a video with a laundry room in the background is something that I just absolutely cherish as I listen to you speak to this beautiful prayer that has had such immense impact to me as well. That you pay attention to the little coincidences is just so awesome as I do the same (and due to my gender I’m a bit dense and so many times these coincidences tend to be quite amazing for me to recognize them). May God bless you and Dr. Peterson and your beautiful children and again thank you!
I began praying the rosary in Latin just this year. Despite its challenges in learning the language, it is a deeper connection to the language of the Church. Highly recommended for the curious language-loving Marian or Catholic.
I love this! I am learning the Latin version too! I have noticed that learning to pray the rosary in another language can often help me to be more intentional in it's prayer. The Hail Mary in Spanish is gorgeous.
If you have not read the "Secret of the Rosary" by St. Louis de Montfort An even deeper connection and Love for this beautiful prayer will come upon you. Thank you Tammy for taking everyone along with you on this spiritual path. There is only one way to Christ and that is through His Blessed Mother. He came into this world through Her and by Her we will go back to Him. +JMJ
I’m reading that book and I was about to recommended also to anyone who also is interested in deepening. It is a beautiful book, and I learned more about the rosary! God bless you for sharing this lovely conversation and your faith journey with the Rosary 😌
The DEMON who appeared to Gusman, inspired him to preach a crusade against the Cathers and others. Thousands were slaughtered and burned alive! THAT is "The Secret of the Rosary"!
@@buddysilver5788 That part about Mary giving Dominic the Rosary is a legend/myth and doesn't bare much historical basis, other than the claims of the Dominican order itself. I can't find much in cannon about it beyond the Dominican order.
Connection to Jesus through Mary, via the rosary has been changing my life & I am greatfull. I NEED the simplicity of the practice. Our Lady of Fatima pray for us! The rosary feels like training wheels on a kids bicycle. It keeps my wobbling prayer life from tumbling over. Mary is with me & I am with her at the foot of the cross. She is helping me love Jesus and love others more.
Thank you Mrs Peterson and may God bless for your witness to our Blessed Mother. St Maxmilian Kolbe, who died a martyr in Autzwitch, spent his life promoting the Rosary. He said "you can never Love Our Blessed Mother too much as you will never love her more than Jesus does" I pray the Rosary daily to give Glory to the Holy Trinity. With Mary our Mother, with the Angels and Saints we give all praise and thanksgiving to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Ave Maria 🙏
Hello Mrs Peterson, so beautiful to see you praying the Rosary. I'm 22 and a practicing Catholic and if you are looking for further edification concerning the power and mystery of the Holy Rosary I might suggest St. Louis de Montfort's book "Secret of the Rosary", and further for Marian devotion is his book "True Devotion to Mary". God bless you, you and your husband are in my prayers.
I have that booklet, I am holding it right now. I remember reading the rosary's story but vaguely, no details. In old age ( never too late) I am devoted but it's a struggle. I was born Catholic, educated by n u ns, my grandmother was very devout. I never GOT IT. I always respected, visited churches in my travels. I had a bad emotional crisis and I turned to Jesus for clemency. I even think that in my seeking advice I heard His Voice saying Don't go. But I went, because...I had to ( to meet somebody I was obsessed in love with And I needed to see, resolved the situation. It became the worse nightmare lasting years of unhappiness. Anyway maybe because I disobey sorry long story old story.
That sounds like a wonderful idea.! Go for it, Tammy. God is using you to bring souls to Him though the Rosary. We are the church militant here on earth and we have to fight Satan through Mary. The devil trembles with fear at the sound of Mary’s name. She’s the one who’s going to have the last battle with Satan (in our times) and we need to help her in her fight by praying the Rosary and amend for others who do not pray and do not believe in God. I’m so happy for your transformation! Please pray for the conversion of my family and anyone reading my comment. ✝️👼
Dear Mrs. Peterson, I feel so much peace in my heart just to listen to you talk. Thank you so much for sharing your testimony about the prayer of the rosary. I think you’re an amazing good person. I have been praying the rosary around 25 years and it makes me sad that I never had as much love when I prayed as you do. However, since I listen to you talked about the rosary and your way of leaving is helping me have more love and devotion towards our Holly Mother. You need to know that you inspired many people to be better in this life. May God blessed you and your Family🙏
I have my grandfather’s rosary. It’s the only thing I really wanted from his stuff. It’s made of Job’s Tears seeds that he grew in his backyard. He always had it in his pocket or hand.
What a joy to learn you pray the Rosary! 🙏 "Satan wants to destroy this prayer, but in this he will never succeed. The Rosary is the prayer of those who triumph over everything and everyone. It was Our Lady who taught us this prayer, just as it was Jesus who taught us the Our Father." Padre Pio
Dear Tammy, I'm so glad that you have discovered the ROSARY as a very precious prayer. I pray rosary every day. First thing in the morning when I wake up, still in bed trying to wake up gently when just listening the rosary on the internet. Than, in the car on the way to work and to my son's school ( we have a long journey daily driving through a beautiful Sherwood forest). I would not be able to go peacefully throughout the day at my secondary school where I work. The rosary makes my day, put my mind, my emotions into good, positive direction, when I put everything in God's hands, my child, his learning, myself, everything we do, say, have, all the problems, worries and it enables me to be thankful to God as well for all the blessings big and small, all the loving care and protection of God upon us. THE ROSARY IS JUST EXTREMELY AMAZING, IMPORTANT, POWERFUL, BUT SIMPLE PRAYER.God bless you all in here.
As a child, my mum would pin something like you mentioned Mrs Peterson, a religious symbol. She used to pin them on the inside of our school uniform shirt, or cardigan. It would be hidden and pinned close to our heart. You reminded me of that ❤ I'm from Malta in Europe.
As a recent convert to Catholicism (from Indian family), the nostalgic element of the rosary completely falls flat. The power of the rosary is not in the nostalgia, it ultimately comes from God through Mary. She is indeed our mother. She indeed has been given the power to crush the head of Satan. She indeed has a legion of Angels under her command. She indeed intercedes for us. If it is our duty to behold her as mother, it is her's to behold us as her children. A command issued to each of us by Christ our Lord.
As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, “Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you.” He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.” Luke 11:27-28 Read the gospel of John to encounter Jesus Christ. There is only one mediator between God and man. Jesus Christ
@@peacetruth4802 A very clever objection, but it only appears this way if one is ignorant of context. The Israelites were expecting the Messiah to be a ruler in the line of King David (2 Samuel 7:12-16; Isaiah 11:1; Jeremiah 23:5-6), and considering that Jesus was preaching the coming of the kingdom repeatedly (Mark 1:14, Luke 9:2, Matthew 6:33). I'm not being snide; Luke 9:2 comes before Luke 11:27-28, so the people are expecting Jesus to be a claimant to be a King, since he was preaching the coming of a kingdom. Ancient Israel put heavy emphasis on blood lines. So when the woman in Luke 11:27-28, talks about Jesus's mother, her emphasis is on Jesus's Davidic bloodline. Jesus instead is trying to point out that membership in this new kingdom is based not upon blood or marriage, but upon faith, so that “to all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God” (John 1:12). It might sound as though Jesus were saying, “Mary is not blessed,” but that can’t be right. Elizabeth, filled with the Holy Spirit, had earlier proclaimed, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb!” (Luke 1:42). So Mary is blessed as the Mother of Jesus who is fully God. But the point here is that her blessedness isn’t because of bloodlines. Rather, it’s because of faith, which is why Elizabeth continued, *“Blessed is she who believed* that there would be a fulfilment of what was spoken to her from the Lord.” *There is only one mediator between God and man. Jesus Christ* Reply - The Catholic Church says amen to this. Don't insinuate a lie about what Catholics believe. Catechism of the Catholic Church 480 Jesus Christ is true God and true man, in the unity of his divine person; for this reason he is the one and only mediator between God and men.
16:30 Wow! A rosary in the family for 4 generations is incredible. Mother Mary has been guiding the Church for over 2,000 years, imagine all the hours spent devoted to her throughout the ages from people seeking God.

As a cradle Catholic I started saying the Rosary just for it being said without any intent in 2017, not realising after 3-4 years later that is by 2020 or 2021, I would able to overcome my sinful habits and help me grow closer to Jesus. It is the best prayer and of course 1000 slaps on the face of satan.
Her voice is so pleasant ^^ She sounds like a very thoughtful person. As a Protestant, I've benefited so much from the practices of my Catholic and Orthodox brothers and sisters.
The Rosary, It’s the most humble prayer. Meditating in Jesus life, repeating like a child to their parent over and over like asking Are we there yet, Without giving up ❤
That was very helpful to me, Tammy. I was raised in a mainline denomination (Methodist) & now go to a nondenominational church. My husband & I have visited ancient Abbys in Ireland & Scotland a few times. I have also visited Cathedrals in the larger American cities. There is a type of quickening in my soul and spirit when I visit these places. I have a longing for the ancient & the rosary has various time been on my mind. Thank you for explaining.
The image of the smoke rising up to the feet of God can be seen as the prayers from the Rosary ascending to heaven. This beautifully illustrates the belief that Mary intercedes on behalf of those who pray the Rosary, carrying their prayers to God.
I'm Roman Catholic snd so enjoyed this video. God wakes me up averyday at 4am to pray the Holy Rosary for all the suffering people in the world. I allways pray for the Petersons. I so enjoyed the way you both explained and enriched my way of praying it. Gid bless!....far from 🇲🇽🙏🌟🎼🎶
When I was 14 I became Catholic but not a very good one. I didn't really understand the depth of the Catholic faith. I was helping set up the rummage sale at the Episcopal church down the street from my house and I found a book about the rosary by St. Louis Du Montfort. I bought the book, but I didn't have a Rosary and didn't understand it. For years when life was painful and difficult I could hear the Blessed Mother asking me to pray the Rosary, to ask her for help. When I finally said, "yes" a nun I knew came by out of the blue and gave me a beautiful Rosary. A little while later a woman at the grocery store gave me a booklet about the Rosary. When I ask Our Lady for help she helps me. When I neglect my Rosary life gets difficult. It maintains the peace in my soul.
Love from Ireland 🇮🇪. This is beautiful. As a catholic who at 60 returned to the faith after coming across the bible in a year, I really enjoy these stories from Protestants who converted. I took the catholic faith for granted growing up and it’s only now I’m appreciating how beautiful it is. I think this perspective of discovery of its beauty recognised by Tammy and other ex Protestants is really inspiring
Love from Australia 🦘 I think in some ways it is more gratifying coming back to the faith as a mature adult and having had lots of life experiences. We have a better handle on the Truth. Mind you, I regret all the time wasted on false gods, things, people, ideologies etc, etc. We are very lucky that God has called us back to the faith and waited patiently. Not sure I would be that patient. I'd dump me in the "lost causes" basket. I am very, very grateful. Good luck and best wishes
Thank you Mrs Peterson for spreading and explaining such an important powerful loving prayer - directly to God through his blessed mother. Creates miracles - I have witnessed too, if God’s will. My husband too had terminal cancer and had 18 months to live. That was 29 years ago. I prayed the rosary daily. I learned if what we pray for is not answered directly, it gives us the strength to get through anything when said with love. Powerful. The world needs this faith and love through the rosary for healing and world peace. 💞🙏
Dear Tammy, I wanted to share that during my trip to Cyprus last May, I had the chance to meet you and Dr. Peterson. While there, I gave him a special gift during the meet and greet with the intention that he would pass it on to you. This gift held a souvenir from the Lady of Lebanon (a Marian shrine), symbolizing my homeland Lebanon, along with my personal rosary that holds deep sentimental value to me. This rosary was crafted by a close friend who introduced me to Dr. Peterson and his impactful work. It's a token very close to my heart, and I used to jest that if I ever gave it away, it would only be to you, given your love for praying the rosary. I hope you've received this gift, and I'm grateful for everything you and your husband contribute. May God's blessings be upon you both❤. Jessy from Lebanon
During a hardship in my life, I was given 3 rosary beads. One for each family member, I wasn’t very serious about religion at the time. Along with taking part in the Sacraments praying the the Rosary I have experienced repentance, peace and healing.
Praying the rosary have helped me and my family so much. I am the only one that is praying it, but with it Our Lady have done miracles in disguise! It is very healing as well
Hi Tammy. Watching this video made me decide to start praying the holy rosary. I prayed the holy rosary last Sunday night. First time in a long time. On Monday, the NZ gov't said they are ending the traffic light system and the remaining mask & vaccine mandates (health & disability workers). Coincidence?.. Today is the third day I prayed. It's amazing how calm I have been. So I will continue to pray it everyday. After the rosary, I sing songs to our Blessed Mother. I also include you & your family in my prayer of petition. More power to you. And as always, God's Will Be Done.
I am Orthodox but I have recently began to use the rosary. St seraphim of sarov (a beloved Orthodox saint) encouraged Orthodox christians to use a form of the rosary. I find it does more for me and is a very powerful form of prayer. I find it will bring tears to my eyes.
Dear Tammy, I'm really glad I have witnessed you're family's spiritual turn into Christianity - as a family, similarly to what happened to my own family. In my family we also went through autoimunity-diet healing- loss of faith on The institutionalized god of Science - hospitalization and almost loss of my father after a unlikely situation- and The path back to Christ as a family, with The 2nd chance given my father by God. And I must admit that, having followed Jordan and Mikhaila since 2016, I can't think of your family as other than a group that has been chosen to help save souls, bringing Good people all around The world to the right path back to the Truth- or closer to it. God only gives The Grace of living to a person Who nearly died if they can work on their on salvation or the salvation of others. You guys are doing a great job❤thanks! May God bless you!
Ah the Rosary, I try to Pray the Rosary Daily, Whenever ever I miss Praying the Rosary I feel wrong and cheated. It is the only time I walk on my own with no interruptions and by the end I am calm. I love Mumma Mary.
Thank you Tammy and Jonathan for this beautiful discussion. The Rosary is a beautiful gift from our Blessed Mother. A quote that comes to mind every time I pray the rosary is “The Rosary is the Bible on a string. It catechizes using Scripture. It’s the chain that binds Satan.” Father Ronan Murphy.
Tammy you are an inspiration to me as a lifelong Catholic and daily communicant. You are helping me deepen my love of the Holy Rosary. You are in my prayers
I LOVE this!! This filled my heart so much 🥰 Thank you Tammy. Mary changed my life, so beautiful to see how she is working in yours. Spread this love! Ave Maria!!
One can never overestimate the power of a rosary praying wife! Given that Jordan is open minded and a good willing person, I would be surprised if he didn't convert to catholicism in the future. God bless you Tammy! Keep up the good work! 🙏🏻
Hi Tammy. I've been praying allot for convertion of famous people the last 2 years. Im so fan of your husband, I've learnt a lot from him . Im so happy to knows your beautiful story. Im sure your history will help many people to discover the powerful of the holy rosary. I always have seen my mom praying the rosary, since my childhood . My brother and me used to pray the rosary with her before going to sleep when we were kids . As she studied in a amercian school she taught us to pray Holy father in english :) ( Im from Perú) . Im catholic since always but Im back to the rosary pray practice since 2 years ago . My mom never gave up encouraging me to pray it. I used to think It was enough for me to go to mass on sunday. I was totally wrong. We all need to have this powerful habit that help us to live imiting Jesus, in peace.
Love this. Thank you, Tammy, for speaking on the importance of praying the rosary and the intercession of our blessed Mother. It's biblical and it's an extra help for our prayers. God bless you and Jordan. The wisdom you both share is a needed blessing to humanity. 🙏🏼
Dear Tammy, because of your beautiful living witness of the Rosary, I am so inspired to do pray it daily. Your humble and open heart for God’s grace through the Rosary brings a great example for people like me to follow. May God always bless you and I pray for you and your family to continue being the witnesses of God’s beautiful love and mercy. ❤
Role of a woman in the family unity (in relation to the role of Mary as a Mother to all of us), one family together, in one home, eating the same food...... that's so powerful!! A great blessing to you people
Tammy, it would be a blessing if you did a pray along type of video with the rosary. Thank you so much for your videos , you add such a unique spirit to these videos
Thank you for sharing this prayer. It is so powerful that it can stop wars, heal the sick and convert sinners. I have seen so many amazing things happen through this prayer. It has sustained my faith especially in difficult times. I am reminded that even Jesus and Mary had times of joy, sorrow and glory. It reminds me that Jesus came down from heaven and lowered himself to experience this difficult world that we live in so that we can experience his glory. When I go through difficult times I am reminded it is just for a season. Please continue to pray the rosary. It will transform you, your family and the world.
It's somehow a sign of God for me. I recently started praying the rosary again and the RUclips algorithm chose to show me this video. I touched me so deeply that I even shed some tears. Mainly because I thought of the time when I prayed it together with my grandma. Bless you!
Hi Tammy, my name is Alex. Speaking from southern California near los Angeles. I have been listening to your husband what seems like my whole life. I feel like he is the wise father i wish i always had. And love your family. I was deeply touched to here your story about the rosary and how it changed your life. For 5weeks and novena. I have a sister who is very ill and fighting a rare disease digestive. I told her let's pray. We are on week 2. Can you please pray for my family and specifically my sister. God bless you. Tell Jordan God bless him and i say hi. and your family.
My grandmother gave me a rosary made out of roses before she passed away. I often reach to it, but will practice praying the rosary nightly as I remember hearing my grandmother do so 📿 ❤🙏
One interesting aspect about the number of Hail Marys in the structure of the Rosary: when the cycle is completed ( 3 days) it adds up to 150, which is the number of Psalms in the Bible. The Rosary was seen as an extension, or the lay man version, of the Liturgy of the Hours prayed at the monasteries, which basically is the chanting of the Psalms throughout the day and night. Lay people did not have the time nor the resources (books) to pray it, but in this small way they felt connected with the men and women that have dedicated their entire life to "praying without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
I love you and all your beautiful family! The rosary is our weapon against evil, not many people know it! That’s why the world is like it is now. Thanks for sharing this powerful information. Lots of kisses from Japan!
Wonderful!! I’m so happy you are discussing the Rosary!!Our Lady of Fatima asked us to pray, pray often, and the Rosary everyday. The Hallow App has rosary with scripture/ reflections, including Bishop Barron, it’s treasure 🙏👏
Tammy Peterson, thank you for your explanation of the Rosary and for your faithfulness in prayer. God who is Love Truth Justice and Mercy will look at your intercessions for your family and others and will reward both you and them with truth and life.
God bless you and your family Tammy. If you ever have a weekly or daily rosary online prayer group, I believe many of us would join in with saying the rosary all together.
Thank you for explaining each step and its meaning. I am inspired by your story that I heard on the Gabri After Hours channel. I’ve been battling severe depression; the rosary brings me great comfort. I pray to be fully healed. I pray to grow closer to Christ and Mother Mary, and God. I pray for other people and for world peace and deliverance for everyone suffering.
God bless you Tammy. I converted from atheism 2 years ago going to college as an engineer and realized how good God is. I thank him infinitely that he loved me so much he'd die for me.
I don’t think you thought the biblical story through. Essentially, God has himself tortured & killed as a human sacrifice to himself, in order to appease himself, thus sparing a tiny fraction of his most adoring slaves from the eternal torture he created for them. 🤔
@@zacharyp10 Let’s say you have a toddler, one too young to know right from wrong. Before you close the door, you push a deranged psychopath inside, one who’s sole mission is to tempt the child into disobeying you, and consume the poisoned candy. Unsurprisingly…they eat it (being omniscient, you knew they would.) The poison will negatively effect the child throughout their life, and at the end of it, cause eternal pain & suffering. You’ve designed this poison to pass from that toddler, to their offspring…and have commanded them to breed more of themselves before they die, to maximize human suffering. Eventually, you begin to take pity on the population you’ve cursed. And decide to mutilate, torture, and kill your own biological child. He’s innocent, perfect, and made of your own flesh. Destroying this perfect specimen satiates your blood lust…and you now feel vindicated in alleviating a tiny fraction of the suffering your poison has caused. You now give the cursed population an ultimatum. Worship and obey me…for all time, and I will give you the antidote to the poison I’ve placed within you. Or don’t, and suffer unimaginable pain forever. ….Now, tell me…did this being “love” that toddler, or his descendants?
My second husband was in the ICU, with his liver failing. It was very late and I was there by myself, waiting to find out if they could stop the bleeding. I looked up the words for Hail Mary and said them over and over, till the doctor came out. My husband did not make it and I was left to deal with that loss. I moved across country. I'd asked God to help me find a new church home. An online friend was making rosaries so I asked for one. I found out how to pray it, helped along by Hallow. I started going to Mass. was too late for RCIA classes last year, so I took them this year and joined the Church this Easter vigil. There are times when you need to just pray. Saying the Rosary can teach you how.
The Blessed Virgin Mother is the feminine archetype that our culture is missing. She is the Virgin who brings Heaven to Earth by her simple beauty, innocence and humility. She is the Beloved Daughter of the Father. She is the Mother who raises the Son to become our Savior. She is the Faithful Spouse of the Spirit of Truth, the Spirit of Fire who guides us in the darkness. She is the true Ark of the Covenant who leads us into battle. It is said that Satan fears Mary more than Jesus because Satan can stand being defeated by God, but not by a mere human woman. God bless you, Tammy.
I loved this discussion on the Rosary as a form of prayer and meditation. I am so happy to hear that Tammy will be joining the Catholic Church this coming Easter. GOD bless you Tammy on your journey of faith and discernment.
The rosary is the most powerful weapon we have as human beings. It’s not the gym, it’s not shrooms, it’s not abstention, it’s not economic success, these things do not have agency over demons. JBP should reveal this weapon to his subscribers. The rosary and holy communion are spiritual keys to salvation.
I like your podcasts, having watched several now. When you told the story of your mother using an electric knife to cut bread and it fuzzing the tv, I started laughing to the point of tears. When I was growing up my family watched Disney and had a tv dinner. Also, I remember the electric knife … oh Lord! Your demeanor are easy to listen to and I like your openness. Thank you.
Please pray for my sister Alexis Gallo. Who has been battling a severe digestive disease. Her intestines are paralyzed. I pray that Jesus will revive her intestines and heal her. She is the most wonderful sister and person ever. Thank you Tammy for guiding me and my sister on the right path. My sister and I just finished praying the 5weeks and the novena.
When I pray the rosary or the Devine Mercy chaplet or the Jesus prayer, each prayer seems to me like a stitch, connecting heaven and earth like the layers of a quilt when you sew in the batting. I can see in my mind the lower cloth (our world) being tugged up by the thread till it connects with the upper cloth (heaven), stitch by stitch, prayer by prayer. The more stitches, and the more people praying, the better!
I love the change through Christ thank you for speaking it out
God bless you! Keep on praying. You are on the right track. Don't give up.
Beautiful coming to Christ story 🙏🏼
This may be the most beautiful comment I've ever read. I will pray for you. Trust in God, and cling to Him like a baby to its mother.
The rosary helped me survived the abyss of despair. Tragedies came to our family, the rosary consoled my spirit.

I have listened to Dr. Peterson for years, but Tammy is my favorite of the Petersons! I always feel warm in my soul after listening to her speak.
I agree!
:)
Her voice is so calming. She did a great job explaining how to pray using the rosary 🥰
After being away from the church I have returned to the rosary in hopes of coming back to faith. I hope anyone can please pray one bead for me and my kids.
Praying!! 🙏
I will pray for you and your kids today.

The rosary helped me anchor myself when I was fighting depression. Now I can't start my day with it even when I am distracted.
Agreed
I'm not Catholic but your conversion and miracle plus gentle soul have strongly peaked my interest in the Rosary. I'm going to start learning all I can about it. Thank you for sharing.
I Started praying my rosary again daily. This is the first time that I am doing daily rosary and my life has been transformed.
The guy keeps saying the rotary is magic. Wrong the rosary is a sacramental a wonderful medium to meditate on Christ's life. Not magic
(Code of Canon Law 1166)
Sacraments are efficacious signs of grace, instituted by Christ and entrusted to the Church, by which divine life is dispensed to us, see CCC 1131 and CCC 1084.

Mrs. Peterson,
No words can express how happy I am to see you teaching fellow Catholics/Christians about how to use the rosary properly.
Amen.
What a beautiful video.I am not Catholic but I can see were this practice would bring you closer to Christ to meditate on him and all that he has done for everyone who believes. This video has caused me to think deeply about the role of the church and the rituals of the church. Thank you for sharing this.
Mark 12:34
And when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.” And after that no one dared to ask him any question.
This is your sign to begin your rosary journey.
Please join in the Rosary for the sake of the World.
Thank you for your prayers. I’m sorry for the loss of your mother
I began praying the rosary in Latin just this year. Despite its challenges in learning the language, it is a deeper connection to the language of the Church. Highly recommended for the curious language-loving Marian or Catholic.
Bravo! I think that is an excellent idea
@@TammyPetersonPodcast Thank you, Mrs. Peterson. May God bless you in your health, work, and spiritual journey.

I love this! I am learning the Latin version too! I have noticed that learning to pray the rosary in another language can often help me to be more intentional in it's prayer. The Hail Mary in Spanish is gorgeous.
Which language did Jesus speak?

The rosary feels like training wheels on a kids bicycle. It keeps my wobbling prayer life from tumbling over. Mary is with me & I am with her at the foot of the cross. She is helping me love Jesus and love others more.

Hi Tammy! Ever thought of starting a daily/weekly rosary session? It feels so calming hearing you pray.
Wow! This is a great idea, I love her voice too, could listen to it all day
I agree with this! Your voice is very calming, Tammy ❤️
Desde España, la tierra de María, apoyo esa idea que, a lo mejor, es una moción del Espíritu Santo!!!
"Satan wants to destroy this prayer, but in this he will never succeed.
The Rosary is a 20 minute river of peace flowing into our hearts and minds.
Beautifully said ❤️

Keep the habit. Once you get used to it you realize what a great help it is to keep you close to Jesus.
As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, “Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you.” He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”
Luke 11:27-28
Read the gospel of John to encounter Jesus Christ.
Rather, it’s because of faith, which is why Elizabeth continued, *“Blessed is she who believed* that there would be a fulfilment of what was spoken to her from the Lord.”
*There is only one mediator between God and man. Jesus Christ*
Reply - The Catholic Church says amen to this. Don't insinuate a lie about what Catholics believe.

It maintains the peace in my soul.
so beautiful. Thank y9u.

It's a token very close to my heart, and I used to jest that if I ever gave it away, it would only be to you, given your love for praying the rosary. I hope you've received this gift, and I'm grateful for everything you and your husband contribute.
May God's blessings be upon you

I really whish you would have a discussion of the rosary with a Catholic. That would be so powerful.❤️
Everyone needs to have this message shared. We catholics are not the only people God loves. I’m not meaning to be offensive.
Thanks for your comment 🙂

Ave Maria!!
Ave Maria❤
You are so sweet and special. I’m so glad you found Christ again in the Catholic Church.
Happy Feast of the Holy Rosary today Tammy! 🙏✝️
Thank you
Wow! “Carried around nearly 200 years” that’s so wonderful! What an amazing blessing/powerful family relic
The Rosary is a very powerful prayer, God bless you Tammy.
Role of a woman in the family unity (in relation to the role of Mary as a Mother to all of us), one family together, in one home, eating the same food...... that's so powerful!! A great blessing to you people
Description of the rosary is done as a perfect catholic! Thank you as it shows such respect to our Blessed Mother.
Amen!! I have seen the same in my life 💕
It's somehow a sign of God for me.
My sisters name is Alexis
Thank you Tammy! 💙🙏 May God bless you.
Hi @tammypeterson !
Question for you: which 9day novena did you pray?
@tammipeterson
@tammypeterson
My grandmother gave me a rosary made out of roses before she passed away. I often reach to it, but will practice praying the rosary nightly as I remember hearing my grandmother do so 📿 ❤🙏
Jordan is such an excellent doorway to Tammy. Gotta say the Christ centred approach really resonates with me. Godbless you and your family Tammy
Thank you. That's a helpful clarification
“Sitting at the foot of Christ is the Place to be”…🙏❤️
Praying the Complete Holy Rosary ( All 15 Mysteries) helps to Grow in True Faith and saves us From Heresy
It can't be overstated how much I love the Rosary and our Blessed Mother!
💚AVE MARIA 💚
Hi Tammy. Thank you for this video. I pray the Rosary as a gift to anyone who the voice in my heart says to give. And miracles happen. God bless
God bless you and your family Tammy. If you ever have a weekly or daily rosary online prayer group, I believe many of us would join in with saying the rosary all together.
I'm a cradle Catholic and so impressed with Tammy. She's a beautiful humble soul that God has raised up in this time!❤
So proud of you Tammy, I will remember you and your family in my Rosaries ❤❤❤❤❤. Love to pray All 4 Rosaries, I feel closer to God.❤❤❤❤❤
God Bless You for promoting this most effective prayer needed in this difficult world.
@@anolisa1939 Why do you think that?
@@zacharyp10 Let’s say you have a toddler, one too young to know right from wrong. You decide to test their obedience by designing a room filled with every kind of candy, and before you lock them inside it, you tell them to eat any sweet they wish, EXCEPT for the green m&m’s (which you’ve secretly poisoned.) Before you close the door, you push a deranged psychopath inside, one who’s sole mission is to tempt the child into disobeying you, and consume the poisoned candy.
I'm sorry for your loss. God be with you
The Rosary, with the Lord’s prayer and the Hail Mary is my direct connection to the divine. 🙏🏼 From Chile 🇨🇱
Mary, Mother of God, share Christ’s love with us.
THE ROSARY IS THE BESTTT ❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
Life is a mystery, glorious, luminous, joyful, and sorrowful, all bound to God’s own heart.
I never realized how close the rosary is to the core Orthodox everyday (morning and evening) prayers.
It is also a wonderful experience to pray thanking Jesus and Mary- just over flowing thanks
🙏🏻🕊❤️🔥How wondeful! Thank you for helping us to come closer to our Mother Mary. Praise be to God!❤️🔥🕊🙏🏻
Wow, I love this!
❤
Powerful testimony!❤God bless!
Tammy is not even Catholic yet and she radiates holiness. God bless her.
