I am going to try it with other fruit, too. Secondly, I love the idea of dividing the cake into portions and then decorating the top - much easier than trying to divide a decorated cake and chasing the decorations around the kitchen! Thank you. Update: I tried the slice-then-peel method on an avocado and it worked beautifully!
yes same here and also instead of adding the melted butter directly to the whole mixture, she took a small batter in the butter, well combined it and then add it into the larger bowl. I've seen her doing this trick a lot and I think is smart cuz sometimes the batter can go bad if the difference of temperature is to high 😜
@@Vera111 it's very oily and difficult to incorporate, a smaller amount of batter leaves less room for the butter to run and is easier to combine. It can then be folded incorporated into the main batter more easily.
