Choose your own thiolized adventure with Thiolized Swig of Subeams beer recipe kit and Omega Yeast's Thiolized Series strains. Extract (bit.ly/3T6Rkq0) or All-Grain (bit.ly/3Wzi6dC)

I think this could be fabulous in a single malt. The sweet, fruity, malt flavors could really come out in a whole new way. Especially utilizing some specialty malts in the grain bill. OMG making my mouth water!
Or a rye, accentuated with perfect barrel timing, for a sweet dessert drop!

Been looking into Thiolized yeast! Planning on a Hazy next spring and will definitely be trying these strains out.

I just poured myself a fresh glass of your Zombie Frost thiolzed with cosmic punch and this video popped up as I was sipping. I have brewed this with other yeast, its probably the best beer ive ever had. 🍻

Well, heck. We love just about everything about this comment. So great to hear. Eager to hear the differences you get from the Cosmic Punch version versus the default British Ale yeast. Cheers!

It really balanced the citra hops and the grains nicely. Not to malty not too hoppy, carmel perfect. I taste no sulfur after one week in the keg

Nice video, lots to think about. Curious about the water lock problem, was that caused by lack of head room or just because of the sugar added or the yeast strain, and did the Lunar Crush at a lower temperature have less blowoff.

OVERRIPE FRUIT! Yes! That's exactly what I've found in multiple examples of these beers, sometimes too much.

The research is still ongoing throughout the hobby and industry, but I think there are ways to tame it a bit to play in a more balanced way with flavor profile. Maybe blending your pitch of yeast -- half thiolized, half non? Or using different hops perhaps at different times of the brew day. So many new elements to consider.

Tbh I don't like the idea of GMO yeast. It hasn't taken off in winemaking and there's a reason.
