The Punisher is the most broken Marvel character I've ever known and this is masterpiece of what Frank Castle had to go through
This is what annoys me about other MCU characters, like Thor. He lost his brother, his mother, his father, his power, his home, his best friend, his brother (fr this time), half of the universe because of a single mistake, and some of the other heroes he came to know. What do they do with him? Turn him into a complete clown. I almost don't want the Punisher back because of how they treat characters and their development.
@@digitalcamaro9708 You know.. everyone has different reaction to loss, I have seen people laugh at funerals while everyone around was quiet, it's possible that someone who lost literally everything can live better life than before. It's not always a misery, sometimes it's blessing or the push you needed.

I love how the first half of the video is him being Frank Castle. His pain, his love, his life. Then it turns to him being the punisher the 2nd half of the video and the hammer part when turning to him being the punisher was beautiful cause it indicates him burying/smashing the past and his memories even though that’s not how it was in the show. The creator did a beautiful job putting it like that.
This was really well edited for all those reasons and you can tell it was well thought out ahead of the process.. i agree.. the things being said to contradict who he is as it goes into the 2nd half is genius.. dope clip 💯

Frank Castle still gives me the chills,
"You've been in a hole so long that it's become home" as a combat veteran I can truly relate to this feeling when I returned from war it was no longer home what I came back too. As time went on I realized it was never home to begin with.
SO good, John played the role perfectly, i hope we get more of him as the Punisher beyond the upcoming Daredevil series.

This is great because it really captures the essence of the punisher, he isn’t some unstoppable badass that is out for revenge. He is an incredibly damaged and traumatized person that misses his family. Being the Punisher is a curse because of Frank had to lose his family in order to access “the punisher “. In a way his story if the mirror version to Spider-Man’s, instead of losing one person he lost all of them, and instead of trying to be a better person and having a great responsibility the punisher has no limits and kills criminals without caring who it affects or how it pushes him further into his grief and pain, which fuels him to go out and kill criminals again in an attempt to escape himself (Frank)

They inevitably will. Frank Castle doesn't fit in the more "kid friendly" Disney MCU. Maybe if it was pre-Endgame, but it's just going to be a watered down version of an excellent character. I would rather they not bring him back at all. Same with Blade, for that matter...
@@didimean Fax. Most of my friends were excited that Punisher is coming back. Me. I was more worried than anything. Seeing how the MCU is lately, they will probably turn him into a big joke. MSHEU really is at a low point.

Having that much anger isn’t easy to control I respect anyone that can do so
The single most authentic adaptation of a superhero from any comics ever and the irony is that, he does not have any superpowers which speaks volume of how good he was on screen. It's like Jon Bernthal took birth to play the Punisher.

The story of the punisher is so devastating and painful, that it literally sends a man to the edge and no return. Frank Castle is destroyed by the loss of his family he has no regard for anyone or anything else, he's getting revenge on the scum and that's final. He's willing to die for vengeance because he knows it's worth it
