Great video! Petsmart has a 150 count puppy pads for 20 also, it's what I use. Watching your bunnies be so excited is adorable!! Mine get excited too :)
@@AurandtFamily Ok, I saw your updated video and saw the care fresh and oxbow pellets so I figured you did hay in the front then pelets with care fresh on top.
Has anyone ever tried using a permanent pee pad to line the box in order to be more eco and budget friendly? Does it work without being more of a hassle
I’ve seen a few of your videos, and my rabbit (brown Holland lop) has been very skittish since we rescued him. He lived in a mental hospital as a therapy animal for the mentally disabled and they fed him terribly and kept him in a tiny cage all the time. We have him a pen in the living room since he chews our wires everywhere else (how do we fix that) and he seems to hop around and be happy. He’s just very scared of humans in general and we don’t know what happened to him. I spend hours with him just sitting with him and feeding him, sometimes petting em, yet he’s still scared of me. Today he broke his nail and tore out another, tomorrow morning we’re taking him to the vet. Do you have any suggestions for how to bond with him and make him like me? He doesn’t bite and is neutered, idk if that makes a difference.
That might just be how he is since it sounds like you are doing everything right and he does occasionally let you pet him. I’ve had my rescue bun for ~1.5 years and he is still shy and doesn’t appreciate being pet. You can’t force any bunny to do anything they don’t want to do. All you can do is love them and be patient. 🙂 For the cords, get cord protectors. I’ve also hidden the majority of my cords behind furniture or behind NIC grids.
I live with my mother since I’m not old enough to move out, she refuses to spend the extra cash Bc “there’s no need” and protect the cords yet complains. We can’t hide it behind furniture because he is small enough to fit through the 3 inch space between our floor and the couch, which has cords in it. Yes my mother is one of those people. Anyways, thank you for the advice. Have a great day!
Very informative video, I hope that when my bunny matures into a adult that she will act like this. ATM she pees in her litter box and then poops where her food and water are. Lol 2 more months to go.
Yet another great video, so happy I found your channel. Collecting my bunny on Saturday.
Your buns are a cute!!

Thanks!
Aww There so Adorable 😘 you explain everything so well 😊❤️
Thank you 😊 🐰
Does standing on the eco pellets hurt there feet? It looks like you cover some of it with hay but hard to tell.
The pellets do not hurt their feet as I do cover the pellets with hay as well.

do you need to waste all that hay everytime you change it?
using pee pad is already plastic wastage :/
My rabbits unfortunately will rip out the pee pads! Any tips?
You can try adding more litter or hay on top of the pee pad or offering a separate dig box.

Spaying your bun can also help tremendously with litterbox training. 🙂
@@AurandtFamily Yes I'm getting that done now. So there litter box is the only place they eat hay since you use that has a padding.
Won't it be too smelly if you don't clean it everyday?
I have absolutely no issues with smell. 🙂
@@AurandtFamily That's great! Thank you for your response :)
I have to clean every fourth day … leave it longer and the whole house begins to stink … 😫
