i love this for so many reasons! first: the motive is really cool. second: there is no endless "bla bla" and "let me tell you a story" and "let me show you how i use my brush" - it s straight to the point and lets you see in a short time how you do it. i love this!
The way you blend the colors is so effortless, it's a cause of great consternation for me when I paint. Grr. :) Love the choice of Tycho for the music. They are so under appreciated. Keep up the great work.
Awww I remember when I painted in acrylics, I need to do that again. I used to use most of the same techniques you showed, such as wetting the canvas to allow for blending on top of dry layers, and using wet layers in time to blend with the rest :3

This is stunning,the night sky can be a pain to get right sometimes,you nailed it,im in the middle of painting a whole room with a space/galaxy theme,i wish it could take me around 20 minutes.Love it. (it's nice to see a fellow left hander too).
I finished,then changed part of it,then my boy changed his mind on a few things. The main problem is that I am my own worst crytic and whatever I do,it isnt as good as I know I can do. (If that makes sense). I am fairly new and stupid,and have never uploaded anything on here.i shall work it out and pop whatever pics I can on here.thanx for asking.
I listen to Tycho when I paint all the time. you're a very good artist. I've never seen this method of star painting. I usually use a toothbrush but this method looks very good for more close up stars ^_^

There was a woman who came to a local fair and she did these AMAZING paintings all in spray paint. She was called Lady Galaxy and her artwork was simply breathtaking. It reminds me a lot of this.

Brooke Stemen It is all acrylic paint, but sometimes I do mix water with the colors when I don't want the colors to be as intense or opaque. :)
