I began my journey toward nursing in New Zealand in March, 2020, and soon after began working with Hayley Cullen at Accent Health Recruitment. I cannot overstate how helpful she has been in all aspects of the entire process, including: -getting licensed, -creating a resume, -searching, applying and interviewing for eligible job postings, -navigating the job offer and on-boarding process, -applying for a visa, -getting into and through 14 day managed isolation, -finding housing and getting settled. And all of this at NO COST to me! Above all, the encouragement and support of having someone on my side through it all has made an otherwise stressful transition quite positive and exciting. I was initially planning to go it alone, but I cannot overstate the advantage of having someone at Accent Health working alongside me.
