Oak Island, NC Fishing Report ~ Bull Reds at Ocean Crest Pier

- I headed over to the Ocean Crest Pier this afternoon, 9/23/2021, to see what kind of fishing report I could report on. The Bull Redfish have arrived in the surf and at the pier. There is a ton of bait all through the surf. Schools of finger mullet. Now is the time to start fishing the piers and the surf for those awesome Bull Redfish. The Bull Red I observed caught today at the end of the pier was caught on live bait.

My sister and I went there last September, we had never fished in the ocean before but it was a lot of fun a lot of good people there that helped us. I was even able to catch a ribbon fish it was just a good experience for me
