Yes it will be. I found it had a lot of self noise from the lav - I didn’t try to correct in post for the review - but I feel like I should of put it in a section with my best effort at correcting the noise for those who might have wanted to buy it and put in the effort to correct in post. Maybe you can help the folks out!!
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis I think it's better to show people the raw audio also otherwise the review is more how good you are at correcting audio than the mic itself. It's important people know what they are getting and honest raw audio is an important part of that I think 👍
@@neilcollinsrecording for sure. That was my thinking - but if I had my time back I would have put in a section where I tried to edit it in post so people could see if the noise reduction after post processing is acceptable. But for sure I would never edit the audio without a direct comparison to the raw file
Sounds really hissy. I wonder how much work it would be to fix it in post.
It does have a lot of self noise. Big hiss for sure using the lav. You can cut down the hiss in post with some noise reduction - but I couldn’t get rid of it entirely without totally distorting it.
