Immerse sound bigger to me. I appreciate what they tried to do with the Illumine, but all they needed to do was add a second switch and 3 or 4 presets to the Immerse to create the ultimate reverb pedal.
HA, that's funny. Don't you think the idea really was to sell us another, supposedly "better", must have pedal? In Australia, $660, thank you very much.
They sure did a better spring on Illumine, how do you use the sustain engine? Can a one foot switch sustain a note or chord? To me the Immerse is a bit fake and too much mostly
My Favourite is Plate on the Immerse 2..A close second is Wet,then Hall..I really like the Shimmer too.. Sustain is an added toy lol .I don't use Echo or Detune really as I've got chorus and delay affects already..but these are handy extras for just dialling up quickly...
Hi. Thank you for the awesome demos. Was wondering, does the illumine always require a long press to turn it on? Or is this just how you have yours set up?
You can set it up in the Global Setup menu. Each footswitch can have 2 functions whether you tap or press. I think I set it up so that the switches could cycle up or down the presets on the left and right footswitches with a tap. The long press was to engage or disengage the pedal - but I believe you can change that and keep only a tap for engaging the pedal and deactivate the presets function of the right footswitch.
@@AntoineMichaudGuitar excellent. I think I will set mine up like yours because I think I would always have a reverb on and would prefer to cycle up and down with a tap. So looks like the Neunaber scores another point in tweakability there 👍
I have very strong feelings about the nightsky.... Especialy about its heavily modulated verbs, they sound like an own instrument... Dont know, will I still need my bigsky if i have a nightsky?
You don’t need a big sky. You need a UA Golden. The plate is great! It does spring, plate and Hall better than the big Sky and the Night Sky does all the experimental stuff. It’s a great combo as long as you can get a long with UA’s ill conceived UI
@@the5chord So the nightsky sounds great? I have heard some biblical sounds from it, organ btw chor like. But i am a little afraid that its all over the place, that you have more weird sounds than usable
How does someone give this a thumbs down! Thanks for this Antoine! I think I will stick with my expanse+exp.
Appreciate the well recorded comparison.

The sounds are so close! Beautiful!

Its simple: Get both :D At least thats what i did :P Cant possibly go wrong with Neunaber.
In my opinion, the Immerse is Wet3 - all the algorithms sounds really close, but the Wet3 is just magic, with its touch of modulation.

Do you know the song that played before this video , thanks

I don't think 'need' is the right word here.

@@the5chord I was not a fan of the UA. I much prefer the Immerse mkII. The Wet3 is the nicest reverb I have ever heard.

Sell the Big Sky and get a Neunaber, Strymon algorithms dont add up to Neunaber's.
Check out death by audio Rooms if you can't decide.
I love mine, but wish it wasn't so big...
