from my simple knowledge in building ...if you build a simple 3 bedroom unit you need to sort sewage first before the occupant gets inside the house ....in Patrick Analos case he is a smart fellow he allows the house to be built , lets the occupant in , the sewage comes out then he picks the sewage to be dumped some where else , we have not talked about water , width of the road for traffic ,public spaces ,the list goes on ,he is a genius

Any 13 floor high rise turns into a terrible way to live. They tried this in the west and now 20 yrs later they have mainly been demolished. Don't know the rule height now but I think its around 5 max. Treat poorest people like cattle doing 13 floor horrible way to live. I'm European and in my town three 15 floor dumps were demolished due to criminals harassing the residents for money.

Why blame this guy for the mistakes of his predecessors? Nairobi was messed just after independence.The poor planning or lack of planning in many places in Nairobi eventually culminated into a mess in the early and up to the late 90s. Its population increased, and planning was haphazard. It will take years to undo the damage.
To see how Nairobi has improved/ changed since devolution, one needs to walk around Nairobi and compare it now and then.

Loading up a city with high end, high rise buildings that has the vast majority of its population in low income barely sustainable existence is simply silly. This guy has too much english with no substance in reality. Most of the high rise residential buildings in Nairobi are just hiding corruption money.
