►Replacing the engine air filter on your Mercedes-Benz C300 is the only way to ensure clean air enters the engine. Just to let others know I was pulling lean in bank 1 and more, I pulled my air filters and they were caked… changed them and runs like new.

This helps me a lot but just a quick question the sensor that connected to the lid is MAP sensor, correct? What about MAF sensor?

I went to replace and evidently two screws only rotate but don't tighten. Therefore the threading must be stripped by someone using a power tool. Remedy? I was thinking JB weld plastic.

The engine air filter on my 2021 C300 basic is on the DRIVER side! It looks more difficult to replace and can't find any videos on YT on how to do the job. Can you do a video for this? Thanks!

I haven't done mine the last 100k miles. Is that why I have a musty AC smell? Is this normally done automatically during an oil change?

I think if ypu have a full service they would change filters but if you go for an oil change specifically why would they touch air filters. I also think you would need to change your cabin filters. This air box is for the engine not air flow to the AC and cabin. There are lots of videos on how to replace cabin filters. Its very easy. 👍🏼

I am trying to replace my air box cover but cant seem to pull the original off. Loosened the jubilee clip a lot. The cover just wont pull out of the turbo intake pipe. You make it look easy 😂. I've tried levering it with screwdiver but I dont want to break anything. Any tips to getting this out coz its really stuck tight. Thanks
