This kind of music warms my heart. Sean Casey's banjo playing is just spot on. He sits in well with Conor. Pity he doesn't play banjo any more. Frank Hogan seems to have escaped through the railings of the Irish music circle too - he's one fine touch on the mandola.
Looking on here is a friend of mine the late Ciarán Collins who played tin whistle from Gort, Co Galway. Ciarán passed away tragically a few months after this clip was recorded.
