It's such a shame the series was cancelled. I remember it being so fun, and besides the CG and some of the animation (low budget...) it's aged to become surprisingly- and enjoyably- campy.
Thaks a lot for uploading all those series! I really enjoyed them) I knew from the beginning that there was something strange about that Lestrade's partner)) *sigh* Pity that that's the last episode. Well, at least we still have fanfiction)
And even back then budget was still a consideration. So the funds for better CGI were likely not there. They even recycle certain scenes. Like the one where the police cruiser does a barrel roll. I noticed that at least 2-3 times.
you know, with the 21st century the way it is now, if they were to remake this series, still in the 22nd century; how much change would be made to all the gadgets and such?
Good question. There would be no flying cars. Medical Insurance would consume up to 25% of income. Projections indicate that if there could be true A.I., that it would occur in the late 21st, so Watson may or may not need to follow Asimov's three laws. We would not be able to reverse death by that point, but we might be able to clone. Memory ingrams would not be able to be copied with current technology, but assuming you had a recording ( with the working tech ), you could theoretically write memories with some success, so Sherlock could be a clone with memories. Its possible that people will continue polluting the world. So, crime evidence may be destroyed by acid rain in seconds, or wildly shifting weather patterns could also destroy evidence. Technology indicates we might be able to build a space elevator by that time. Wars would probably still be fighting, but considering England's lowering importance to the world as a military power, the police may be given the ability to carry guns ( or space guns ) There would be a lot more of "Stun him" and ask questions later, with memory downloads ( which are nearly possible now ). Of course, this is one interpretation of the current course of history. It could be much nicer, and people would still commit crimes to solve. But I would very much enjoy a remake of this series, if they did so intelligently, with less combat on Sherlock's part ( as he is a thinker ) so we wouldn't have to rely on physical altercations to move the story. However, I think the BBC's recent series "Sherlock" is quite good, and I hope the continue with that first.
Heath Gehlhausen huh, those are very good points, but at the moment we do have holograms, and we are trying to clean up the earth. Also a remake would be nice, but what I had meant by my previous comment is: what changes to the technological gadgets would they make? because we have touch screens, mobilized electronics, and such, but like, would they make something like a watch-dohickey that can project a holographic touch screen? I hope I don't sound rude, but ya know?
That's not rude at all. You could potentially have interaction with "Enhanced Reality" overlays, which we already have in our phones; but instead show them through contact lenses or bionic implants. For example, Google did a "Find Pokemon" event some time ago where you could see the pokemon in real time at real locations, looking through your phone, which rendered a 3D model in space overlayed on an image rendered by the camera. If you had a detection system coming from, say a watch, that detected interruptions in a flat projection and determined location relative to the virtual image ( as seen through glasses or contacts ), you could have a working "holographic" interface, at least a functional one.
+Heath Gehlhausen Sherlock in the original books is an accomplished fencer, master of judo, nearly knocked out a prize fighter in a boxing ring, in a fair and sanctioned fight, and bent a steel poker back into shape using only his bare hands. Holmes obviously puts his brain in top priority, but he only learns that which would help him in his career as a detective and forgets everything else. Certainly, he'd be an accomplished fighter if he wishes to become a great crime fighter.
Epsilon9 Apologies for my misunderstanding of the core Sherlock character. I've been told consistently that he was a thinker and not a fighter for many years. I'll do better research in the future.
I don't know that Tennyson could be a Yardie.....a cyber security expert and hacker, certainly, so, have him in the Yard's techie division...I always loved him :) And he's only 11 years old, yet that good.
@@jacobrengen Yeah, he usually just has that smug look of mild amusement. He's generally more aloof and rude than he is in this series. Although some mild assholishness DOES crop up from time to time.
'Gee, that newbie is such a dumbass, I wonder if he's somehow involved.' 16:06_Oh.. what a shock. God, what a crappy way to end it all.. Personally, it would have been better if they ended it with the Mazarin chip, or at the least put out one last episode capturing Moriarty. *sigh* Oh well.. Life goes on I guess....
From what Ive heard here, the Mazarin Chip DOES take place after this. The order was just borked. And as with any series, animated or otherwise, not every episode is going to be gold.

Basil Rathbone is better
Thank you for uploading this great show!
I wish there were more episodes. Including Moriarty's capture.
THanks so much for uploading all of these, it's been a real nostalgia trip! I love watching cartoons from when I was a kid :)
I really enjoyed watching this. Thanks for uploading it.
Now I must find another thing to watch ._.
So sad that this is the last episode.
Ah, but, despite its obscurity, it lives on in Fanfiction. I'll let you decide for yourself whether that is a good or bad thing.
To bad this series ended so soon. Never got an Irene Adler.
They should of never cancelled this series, so the graphics are not so good, the rest of the series is awesome.
graphics were fine for the time 1999/2000 also this wasn't a dvd rip only got the dvd couple years back
And even back then budget was still a consideration. So the funds for better CGI were likely not there.
They even recycle certain scenes. Like the one where the police cruiser does a barrel roll. I noticed that at least 2-3 times.
good show they always cancel the good shows
At least it got 2 seasons. That's more than many do.
So true
But if we look at voltron it shows if you give them too many seasons it could get BAD!
I finally watched all episodes now I feel fulfilled!

Maybe Tenison could be Lestrade's new partner... someday! ;3 Thanks for posting this series, I really missed watching it!
Yeah but I dont she could understand him
I don't know that Tennyson could be a Yardie.....a cyber security expert and hacker, certainly, so, have him in the Yard's techie division...I always loved him :) And he's only 11 years old, yet that good.
Thanks for uploading this show. I've really enjoyed it. Are you planning to upload anything else?
Yay i did it again!! I solved the case before the end!!
Yes and for the series.
sherlock is cute as hell!!!
Wtf
that was a trip down mem lane. thanks for the upload. also i still have to wonder how they understand Tennyson (sp?) though.
I like to think that, chronologically, this episode was before the Mazarin Chip episode.
So the REAL final episode is actually a Moriarity ep, just like the first.
If only it was actually before the Mazarin chip
There is no more, sadly. The show was canaceled at this point.
Last one.
sherlock holmes didn't laugh when the guy fell. why?!?!cause i was cracking up
BELLCOOK CRONICALS Sherlock Holmes dose not laugh
@@jacobrengen Yeah, he usually just has that smug look of mild amusement. He's generally more aloof and rude than he is in this series. Although some mild assholishness DOES crop up from time to time.
Was enjoying this show till it was rudely stopped. What a shame.
6:20, is that a The Fugitive reference?
Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century is supposedly on Paramount+ 🤦♂️
he handsome aka sherlock holmes
he's all mine!!! holmes is cute

I am now seventy=six. I have always enjoyed this kind of cartoon.
God, I struggle with Beth Lestrade. Sometimes, she's a likeable character but other times, her NYPD London style brashness just pisses me off!
Hi T and B!
thankyou. i think this was the worst way to end the series
Yeah I wish they would of done more seasons
When you mean last episode do you mean that you will upload or that was ever made?
Yeah but they only did 2 seasons
Ever made
is this the last episode for season-2?
yes it is
As of right now, no. But I might if i could find something intresting.
