The Chianti Road : European Roadtrip Part 4 through Tuscany, Italy

One of my favourite roads in the world - the sinuous, smooth, warm and fast Chianti Road that stretches from Florence to Sienna. We take a Jaguar F-Type on a Sunday morning hoon that is a non-stop smile factory through Tuscany into Umbria, Italy.
This is part of a series routing us through Germany on the Romantische Strasse, across the Alps into Italy including the Stelvio, the Chianti Road and then home via Monaco, Route Napolean and the Verdon Gorge.

Hi Stephen, we took the SR222 which starts just south of Florence near Grassina, and then switched to the 249 at Castellina to head across to San Gimignano. It was glorious but helped that it was a Sunday morning so extra quiet and no trucks!
