AWESOME!!! I was Stationed at MCAGCC 29 Palms, CA and had opportunity to see USMC Silent Drill Platoon in Action on two occasions. Words are hard to come by in describing them!!! So Proud I served in USMC
It's a requirement to be an infantryman to be in the Silent Drill Platoon. They do a rotation in the platoon and then go on to an Infantry battalion in the Fleet Marine Force. They're not pogs. Don't be jealous.
