Great demonstration. I am convinced this is the pump to go with being able to push so much water pressure. Thx

Could you connect this pump up to a smart switch and orbit water timer??
    How quiet is it?
If it came on at 6:30 in the morning, would you think it would make too much noise for neighbor??

Im not sure about the smart switch because you may need to prime it each time you use it...its quiet but its still loud enough to notice in the early morning...depends on how close your neighbors are, I guess.

Doesn't the Fluentpower inlet hose have 1" pipe thread on the inlet side? If so, why did you need an adapter? Actually, now that I've watched further, apparently you didn't use the inlet hose that you purchased with the new pump? Why?

When I first purchased this pump, fluentpower wasn't providing any accessories....no hoses, metal bolt screws instead of black plastic for the drain and primer, and no hose-end-filters. They provide those things now. I also had a "unique" water source to pump water from so I needed to build my own unique setup. 🤙

I got a cottage and was thinking of using this thing halfway up the hill to pump screened water from the lake to barrels near the cabin. Its overall 150-200 feet from the water and an overall incline of about 60 feet. I have hydro hookup at the halfway point. Do you think this would work? I was gonna rig a switch to the pump and run it to a weather proof outdoor box to turn the pump on and off and have it dump into rain barrels. I'm gonna DIY a PVC pump to pull water through a check valve to prime the pump. Do you think this could handle something like that?

Sounds like you've got it mapped and planned out! I'm fairly certain it'll work. It may not pump as fast as you may expect it to at that distance but it will pump water for sure. If your priming configuration fails you'll know for sure because the pump will sound off with a whistling/high pitched grinding sound. The best of luck to you! 🤙 let me know how it goes! Shoot, a video would be even better 👌

@@bmaher4882 I left it in the rain and my motor got rusty....but I'm sure it would if I had kept it indoors 👍
