Happy to see a new video . Sometimes I feel like every other card maker is buying every new stamp, ink, die cut and embossing folders when them come out. I HAVE to make my supplies stretch and your videos are a breath of fresh air every time!!!!!
Hi Laurel, I'm a new subscriber. I really appreciate all the content and that you move right along. Most RUclipsrs take sooooo much time fumbling with packaging or aren't totally prepared. Again, thx for your zippy presentation!
Laurel, I love your style. The mountains was my favorite. Heading to my trash next to pick out some paper. Toasting my computer screen with a glass of wine. Cheers!
What fun! And I love your “use what you already have” attitude. I’ve been stamping between 25-30 years, so I’m pretty sure I have a good stash to use! TFS! Looking forward to the next video. I’ve been bingeing on your videos today! Lots and lots of inspiration! Thanks!
ALL of them were great, Laurel! Will try to remember the black pigment ink for a concise background stamp. AND the watercolor paper hint was a good reminder too - I need to play with mine, and my metallic watercolors. You're always there for us with great info. Thank you!
Laurel, my fave was the blue sky and green tree card. You gave me so many ideas. I need to quit buying supplies period. I have no more room and I’ll never use all of rheum. Thank you for the super inspiration. You da bomb!
Awesome tips! I love, love, love the tree scape with multiple inks and embossing powder tip. I've never seen that done anywhere else. I only found you a short time ago, and started out adding your videos to my 'cards' folder. I then realized I needed to have a folder with your name since you're A-maz-ing! Lots of great tips, tricks, and creativity. I also saved your bash your stash video. You're not just a I want to watch, but a I need to watch channel. Thx so much! 🤗
Hey Laurel- the make-up does look lovely. I did enjoy the video. I especially found the watercolor yardstick bit to be informative. Have missed you lately. Have a great weekend.
I just love your videos. You are so much fun and so down to earth. The water color background, loved that comparison to cardstock. Adding 3 different colored inks to one print, did not know that. Loved the background with the haphazard ink blend, looks like water color, and the splotches and masking just made it. My favorite.
Knew some of these from 'way back when' but appreciate the reminders. The one with masking tape on watercolor cardstock? Holy Creative! Thank you for sharing your creative brain with the rest of us. I've started taking notes when I watch your idea videos because my old tired brain needs a 'how to' manual. LOL Keep 'em coming! Thanks.
Laurel, loved the first card you made! Never thought to use multiple colors on a stamp before embossing and heat setting. It was stunning. Definitely gonna try it!
@@LaurelBeard yes. Now that Spring is here, I’ll be doing some Airbrush tanning. I have a history of skin cancer and am naturally so pale skinned. I would love getting more info!
I’ve just ordered a little Lady Bug Vacuum to take care of glitter and embossing powder that ends up on my work surface. You might want to look into one of these. They work!! 😊😊
Hola, thank you for sharing your time and energy. I was doing a craft with paper napkins and I had a lot of the backing paper left over (the paper you pull off from the napkin) any who, Please, I need some suggestions.
LOVED them all. I need to write down what inks stay wet longer to use for embossing. Still new to it. The torn paper I have done.love how it turns out. But really liked how you did it 3 times without drinking. Will do that next time. Love mountains!! From Northern upstate,New York ,Foothills of the Adirondacks. Love your videos..Have you done any fooling using the tacky embossing powder? Just got some, haven't attempted it yet. Thanks for Sharing .
Laurel u crack me up!! U said something about how black heat embossing powder goes Everywhere!! Oh my gosh r u so right on with that statement! If it were possible I'd send u a pic showing how that powder gos everywhere. I'm thinking about starting a Black Lung support group. What do u think? Love every video u post. Thanks for sending this video!!
I just started watching this but . I Also found SEINT MAKEUP in April 2021 love it easy and easy for travel. My friend and neighbor bought it and she’s crazy over it hoo 👏❣️👏❣️
Love this video! Can you explain the difference between watercolor paint and gouache? And watercolor paint in the tube? How is that different from the watercolor paint that’s solid? And Brusho? Is that powdered watercolor paint or some kind of ink?
watercolor is transparent. GOACHE is opaque. Goache can be used on regular cardstock, canvas, wood, etc. I They both come in tubes. Brusho is a pigmented POWDER. VERY pigmented. A little goes a long way. This might be a good idea for an upcoming video. I am no expert by any means, but I know the basics. lol
@@LaurelBeard yes, pretty please! I would love a video about this! Properties of each, when to use them and how to store them. Maybe some common brands? And do I need to seal them?
Love all of your videos. I especially loved the one with the narrow tape and water flicks. Wish I could afford the Bearly glue. $56.00 for 4 oz. on Amazon is nuts!
$56 for glue is crazy. TIP: go directly to the Bearly Art website. 4oz bottle of glue is $16.99. Free shipping to my state. Not sure if it’s free to all states in the US. Bearly Art is selling it on Amazon for a higher price probably due to fees etc.
In the first part of the video, I have re-watched it several times, I can't get how you made the different colors , green tree(s), brown other areas and black other areas, etc. I can't figure out how you did that. It looks like you just put the ink pad all over (in between heating the embossing powder every time). Can you please message me or reply to this question somehow? Thanks in advance. Sheila Manuel
I just added ink to different areas of the stamp and stamped, cleaned off the stamp and then added more colors. Making sure the colors don't turn to mud when they mix, it doesn't matter if they overlap. Once the image has completely been stamped, then I heat emboss. Using the MISTI stamping tool made this go by very quickly and precise.
I use black ink & clear embossing powder. I also use oxide inks and clear powder if I want colored embossing. (I have 4 powders: clear, white, silver, and gold.) Do you ever use perfect pearls? I bought it but really not sure how to use it.
oh yes oxides work great! :) Perfect pearls you just dust over embossing ink or anything of that nature, Then brush the pearls over the top and wipe away the excess. And mist to paper to set. I have them but never use them because they are messy!
Love the inspiration for all of these projects. The large tree stamp is awesome!
0:48 seconds in AND I’m in awe ALREADY over how clear and perfect and beautiful the landscape looks . I can’t wait to see what else I’m in for 😊

I didn't ever think about using more than one ink color over another in stamping, and I can't wait to give that a shot! Thanks for the inspiration!
Love the trees and sky.I enjoy your channel so much.
Did not know about the watercolor paper. Rest I've seen, but forgot them ALL!
Gotta have reminders. Thx for great video.

My favorite was the on the lake with the colors. I agree the makeup was lovely on you. Have a fantastic day Laurel
If you moved the torn paper to the left each time, it would also give a very cool impression of several mountain ranges. Love it!
OH SO TRUE!
I always look forward to your videos by. Thanks. Learned something new.
Great hints and tips TFS 👍😘👏🏼
I really liked that first card with the mixed CP inks. I wouldn’t have thought to try and use colors with that stamp but it turned out so well.
I loved your brush cleaning method resulting in a glorious mountain range…so pretty. 😊
Thank you Laurel you gave me lots of new info loved the mountains and the stripes with flicked water. Have a great day
Love your tutorials! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for a fun reminder that I don’t always need to buy something new to make great cards! 🤗🇦🇺
I really like the multicolored inks with embossing powders. How cool! And I need to use my white pen more.
I also love the versa clair black ink pad!! It is my favorite!! Thanks for sharing!!

I’m curious about your magic mug - what do you do with the dots/bits from word die cuts? I find myself not making many words because I lose the dots.
