I've been looking for one of those for about 3 years, found a couple of 22 lr versions, and a week or two ago I was in my local FFL , looking through their revolver case and they had a black steel 3" used (22 Mag ) ,looked it over good, and decided since it was the first one I've seen , bought it . After reading tons of comments on how hard they are to find, I wasn't going to take a chance.

Great review. This is one I’ve had before and should’ve kept. You helped me decide to get it again, IF & WHEN it can be found. These are VERY accurate.

We picked up one with a 2 inch barrel back in '21, actually waited 5 months after finding a FFL that would order it...we wanted the ultralight model, and a steel one arrived...we debated, and accepted delivery...the gun has been accurate out of the box, and carried often...currently loaded with gold dots...good little revolver...

You don't need to apologize for getting hurt and not being able to get a video out "on time". Taking care of yourself and taking the time to keep the quality high is more important then trying to meet artificial deadlines.
I had a hard time telling in the video, but it looked like you were shooting this in the "thumbs forward" hold that is standard for autos. That's not a super huge deal for a low pressure rimfires, but you will absolutely injure yourself as you move up in power. I know you said that this was only like your second time shooting revolvers, but they should be held in what is called alternatively an X hold (because you're thumbs form an X on each other) or a crush hold. Take your left thumb and cross it on top of your right thumb. This avoids the flash gap of the cylinder, puts your left thumb in a better place for cocking single action (so you don't have to change your grip each time cocking with your right thumb), and gives you a firmer grip of the weapon.

I appreciate the kind words my friend. In this video, I was talking about this being my 2nd time with THIS revolver, but I have been shooting them for years. Due to the injury to my left hand, I couldn’t use my standard hold. I appreciate you keeping a lookout for me though!

I can't find one. I've checked with a dozen stores in the Pittsburgh area. No one has them. I cannot understand how the company profits? If there's such a demand, get the dies back on line and punch some of these beauties out. No one has one for sale.

Sound was bad. Couldn't here you half the time. You never fired it rapid fire. You said right off the bat it's not a target revolver, but that's how you were shooting it. Sure. accuracy is important, but if it is for protection, it's all about how quick you can put rounds in the center mass. Nothing personal, just my opinion. I'm glad you showed us one in action though. I'm going to buy one for CC. I think 22 mag is underrated for defense. 👍

The fun shooting a revolver is using doule action. If you can do a dicen grouping at 10 or 7 yards then you good. I have a Ruger 22 wmr 2" Barrel and i only have my right arm, with the Ruger you feel the hammer when is about to drop, then i hit my target. I don't know about Taurus.
