I have recently acquired this orchid, about a week ago, it is a very young plant, thank goodness it is a very healthy specimen so I have hope in growing it successfully. Your orchid is truly magnificent!! Hopefully I can achieve the same results, alas, patience and perseverance will be the order of the day!! I am going to try to repot the plant today and then hopefully it will grow successfully and become a beautiful plant like yours. Thank you for sharing, I love the greenhouse, small, compact and it does the job for what is needed. Have a super day.
Your Prosthechia is such a gorgeous specimen! You should be proud of it. Congrats, Howard! The Phalaenopsis corningiana is a lovely baby!) I'd like to purchase the same one.
Lovely plants. I have just acquired a young prosthechea radiata from the same source. The Phaeleonopsis corningiana is delightful too. Your videos are excellent. I look forward to the next!
Just happened to be watching when your comment showed up. Yes it's Anraecum leonis but although it grows well in all the years I have had it the flowers always start in mid winter and then abort. I even tried some extra lighting this year but there seems no way of tricking it into thinking it's in Madagascar. VERY frustrating!
I've just gotten myself a Prosthechea fragrans in a 4" pot and I think I see its first ever sheathe poking out of its largest pseudobulb.. I cant wait, I hope I can raise mine to be as happy as your radiata!
Great. There are several quite similar looking Prosthecheas all scented (differently but pleasantly) and flowering at different times. I also have P. lancifolia which blooms about 6 weeks before P. radiata. If I had more space I would also grow P. aemula and P. bacculus. Many thanks for subscribing!
Oh my God! What a beautiful beast is your orchid. 😍 👏

I want a division of that prosthechea radiata please
Well. There's plenty of it so if you ever visit Cambridge I'll give you one. But sorry I don't get involved with selling or posting plants.
@@HowardRice basically I am from India and i would be visiting London from the 11th to 15th September. Hopefully if I get some time will catch up
