The GoPro Effect is real... That rocky climb looks like a basic bit of ST, when it's actaully one of the hardest features to climb in Walnut!

Woow thats so crazy, you should come back to Austin and ride some trails walnut alone has some newly added features and i just moved here 2 years ago and i can see the difference in the trails.
I am very impressed with that climb man. I ride down that everytime I am out there and NEVER EVER climb it.

I had to revisit this one bc I got a chance to walk around Walnut Creek the other day. Not that I doubted, but damn Ryan, that climb looks brutal. I'm hoping to come back in the spring to ride seeing as it was way to wet to get a ride in this time.

I rode there with Eric last week. I knew exactly where you were at 13:00, I lost all my speed hitting my brakes on that turn. Riding in this part of Texas requires lots of pedaling. You have to pedal like crazy if you want to keep your speed up, Its my only real complaint.
Come up to Amarillo to ride the Palo Duro Canyon trails this weekend! Weather is gonna be nice!

What camera do you use... it is like 200% better then a GoPro and doesn’t move around a lot
It's a GoPro! But it's mounted on a 3 axis gimbal which really smooths out the footage.

Haha definitely exhausting. If I had a bit more of a run up I think it would have been fine. You've got to build up some speed to clear those things!
The Loam Ranger yah I think clipless pedals also helped me to really suck up the rear wheel. Def gotta exaggerate everything on jumps that small!
