Just finished the majima part of Yakuza 2. I want nothing more for that woman to keep living the life she has, there is a deep monkey brain part of me that wishes majima kissed her 18 years ago, let her decide if she wanted to live that life with him. But sometimes the best thing you can do for someone you love is let them walk away if you’re not good for them. Majima isn’t the man he was 18 years ago Makato isn’t the woman she was 18 years ago. But for a moment in time it was like a day hadn’t passed. I think that closure is all I needed from those two.
