Very in depth service going on there, which is exactly what you want. All to easy to be sold anything, do loads of miles in your boots & over time develop aches & pains. It`s then difficult to decide if it`s just your body or your equipment. The more it goes on the more damage your joints are. Wish I knew of service like this here in the UK. Thanks for the up-load.
Very informative and I appreciate the advise and visual display. Rob obviously has lots of experience with skiers and whether he uses an off-the-shelf Sidas system to suit their materials or not, it doesn't matter. I am convinced that I need some form of support - whether I can afford the full custom fit or get away with a "average style" of Insole is to be decided.
I have ankles that pronate pretty badly. Are the sidas custom insoles a good way to combat this? It seems like they conformed to her foot in this video, rather than being designed to support / fix and stance issues
***** While I cannot comment on if the Sidas custom insoles will help with your pronated ankles I can tell you that they are a full custom moulding process so they do provide quite a bit of support and should help but best to talk to your local boot fitter / Sidas retailer to confirm if they are right for you.
you sell custom orthotics but you are not an orthesist yourself from what i know. I have orthotics myself and my orthesist definitively does more than just sucking my feet in a foamy material to form a sole. I think this should be checked by canadian health institute as you are doing a job that would require multiple years of education without the license
Good input but I can assure you the tech that fit us was well qualified by the Sidas company and had to undergo plenty of training in order to fit the product. He's also the owner of the store where we got the Sida's Insoles fit and they are still working incredibly well to this day. Two thumbs up!

Snow and rock have been doing this in the uk for 20 years. I got mine around 2001!
Worth every penny! Rob from ROAM gives good gear advice :)
You are so correct in what you said. I am sure if you go to the Sidas web site they may have dealers in the UK could could speak with?

Either option should provide a much better fit for your boots.
We agree fully!
just got a pair of cowboy boots from ebay and as a bonus had a pair of Sidas insoles (Sidas atomic)..
Enjoy those, they are great products and really help your feet over the long term, a must for any ski boots!

Do you remove the original sole in the boot?
Yes, these would replace the stock insoles.

It's also not an orthotic, but rather a footbed. Very different things entirely.
