  • @tudorm6838
    @tudorm6838 Месяц назад +1

Jordan didn't have such a good 3PT percentage not because he didn't practice as a child, but because he never practiced specially. He prepared specially for the match in the final with Portland and the results were seen. If he had been interested, he would have practiced more and had a better percentage.
We see, however, in today's very good players, that although they give results on average, the 3-point shots are not something you can rely on to win systematically in key matches. Very good players with a good average of 3 pts have in the finals matches with 0-7 or 1-9 or 2-12. Basically, they lose matches because of this.

@@itzkhiiii I meant blocks, dunno why I said steals. Lebron is an overrated defender. You can see team off and on defensive rating change when Marc is on the floor and when he's not. He was 2nd in win shares, better BPM than Bron so. Him being all defense 2nd team is a flaw of voting. Numbers support Gasol claim to dpoy

It’s nice to see a younger person be objective without preconceived notions or biases, pertaining to this topic. And also that is very perceptive of you to realize and understand that those players from the eighties, nineties had to DEVELOP their 3 point shot, as adults, not like everyone in the league today, growing up with the 3 ball. Many Coaches at that time, with the introduction of the 3, didn’t WANT their players to shoot 3’s. To me, for me, NO ONE comes close to the Goat like Larry and Michael. Both are deserving of that title, having the BIGGEST impact on their respective teams. THEN, you have your Kobies, Lebrons, Durants, Steph Curries, etc

i will agree ; i wish jordan would not have came back for the wizards (i wish he wouldve stayed retired after 98), BUT i will say the 'wizards years' ARE SOOOOO underrated THO (Jordan was WAAAAY BETTER for the wizards THAN PEOPLE 'choose' TO REMEMBER); in fact , 'wizards' Jordan IS better than 'lakers' Lebron ... 'remember' for the wizards, at age 39 and 40, M.J. 'still' PLAYED DEFENSE, 'still' could be COUNTED ON AT THE FREE THROW LINE, 'still' did NOT COMPLAIN, 'still' did NOT PLAY G.M., and Michael Jordan could ALWAYS BE COUNTED ON TO BE CLUTCH [UNLIKE 'you know who'!] o 'and' btw, AT AGE 40, M.J. 'still' PLAYED 'all' 82 GAMES!

    • @itzkhiiii

Jordan was the gm on those wizards teams, got charles oakley, drafted kwame brown 1st overall pick, and got christian laettner,he also got doug collins to be the coach,he clearly was the gm of that team lol, there literally is a clip of jordan manipulating the ref to make a certain call and the ref says “i believe you michael,i believe you”i mean jordans wizards years is underrated for sure, but lets face it,he tore his meniscus, had to get his knees drained after every game(even though he played all 82 games)and they did not make the playoffs neither one of those years, also within lebron james time as a laker,he won a championship

LeBron's peak ended 7 years ago or 17 years ago or whatever he's never been a consistent player and he still was not the best player in the NBA at any of that time LeBron James should not even be in the goat conversation the only reason is because he brought it up real basketball fans know better plus longevity means crap

To me there is almost no such thing as "The GOAT". Because it comes down to many things and how much value you put on them while determining your "Goat".
Who was the smartest/toughest? Larry Bird
Who had THE craziest work ethic? Kobe Bryant
Who was the greatest Talent overall? Michael Jordan
Who was the best at making his team good? Magic
Who was the Alpha Dog of his Time? Kareem
Who was the hardest to beat? Wilt
Who was physically the most gifted? Shaq
and the list can go on. So it really comes down to what you think the "Goat" is and what number of accomplishments he needs to have.
Heck we could even ask who is the most technical and throw in the professor, who isn't even an NBA player.

Count it, he was averaging 20 a year, and the cruahed his ppg average. It was over 32ppg until he came out of retirement.
That being said if there were a playin, like now he would have been in the playoffs. Additionally, he was killing it until he got hurt
