- For the last time, at least for a very long while, the Lone Star Showdown of Texas and Texas A&M, will sign off after tonight. A&M heads for SEC and will no longer play the hated Longhorns in football and for that, we are worse off. This rivalry lives and dies with its players, coaches, alumni, and fans and both want to be the team that won the last Lone Star Showdown so sit back, relax, and enjoy the 118th and final battle between Texas & Texas A&M.
Who’s here 10 years later wondering how this was 10 years ago?
can’t wait to see this again as an sec conference matchup!
Hopefully it’s on thanksgiving again. Can’t wait either
I miss the SWC, but the SEC is killing it right now with the acquisition of texas university and OU.
Hell yeah! Used to be in the SEC it was Alabama... and THEN everyone else and on the big 12 it was Texas, OU, and.... then everyone else.
This coming Saturday. I can’t wait for this rivalry to restart.
12 years later, Texas and Texas A&M will play each other again, in the revival of the Lone Star Showdown. and just as it "ended" at Kyle Field, it will restart at the same stadium
One constant in the world are the sobbing wails of aggyz.
Made worse by the fact that they thought they were were safe in the SEC for the past 10 years before Texas was like "Oh Aggies! weeee're heeeeere!!!!" and they're like: "aww shit not again!"
Aggies* damn longhorn fans are more dumb than youd think aggie fans are@raggles123
really,? yet you can't keep their 🍆 out of your mouth
I can’t wait for 2024! Hook’em!🤘
Gig em. Gonna be fun!
Hookem baby🤘
2024 the Revival of the Rival
Not the last time my old friend
It never gets old watching Texas beat A&M....Hook em!
Rivalry game returns thanksgiving weekend
November 30, 2024...the rivalry resumes.
Definitely cannot wait one of the many rivalries that was halted because of conference realignment. Two years ago, we saw the backyard brawl return and now we can Texas and A&M resuming their rivalry again.
Justin Tucker: Legendary Texas a d Baltimore Kicker
The Lone Star showdown returns this year.
Who's here for the 2024 edition?
Saw it live. Great ending.
Its 2023 and the aggies still suck. Almost 10 years in the SEC and still no conference championship...or a spectacular season. What a FLOP.
2012 and 2020?
@@Fuego_gringo254great win over Duke in a bowl game? And a Covid year that ended in no titles of any kind? Congrats on 3 winning seasons in conference play since joining the sec!
Longhorns will always be king
texas university is in the deep end of the pool now. Time to sink or swim. Texas Aggies have proven to not only be able to swim, but that they're sharks. Can texas university swim with the sharks? We gonna find out
@@crashstitches79 hahahahahahahahahahahah they’re “sharks”? They haven’t won a conference title in a quarter of a century, and now you’re posturing that A&M is some king of the hill? Lol you aggie fans will always be the little brother to University of Texas (the way it’s actually spelled, nevermind your cute nickname due to inferiority complex). I can’t wait to watch the longhorns make y’all their bitch in everything again. It’s going to be hilarious
@@crashstitches79 That aged well
@@Tigersfan829 y’all got stomped by TCU haha stfu
@@crashstitches79 "sharks"
Best. Game. Ever
Not. Even. Close.
Top tenTexas win? Possibly.
Great game no doubt, but still to this day the best game ever, in my opinion, is the 2005 BCS National Championship, Texas & USC. V. Young 🤘
@@jasonstanley9614 IMHO I personally think the 2017 Rose bowl between Georgia and Oklahoma was the greatest.
Texas vs USC 2005 Rose Bowl and Nat'l Championship. THAT was the Best. Game. Ever.
@@AlmostAnOldFart Definitely not even close to that. It was an extremely satisfying win by one mediocre team over another. Nothing more.
Guys kissing their sisters ain’t cool
that's Alabama, duh
It wasn’t pass interference. That was good no call.
How did I not learn that tu had hex rituals before their thanksgiving games? I will never take shit from a teasip again for A&M having “weird” traditions.
Craig James is a Texas hater. I may not be able to watch this for the 1000th time.

1:14:40 "What?!? Why?!? Why?!?!? Yeah there's a little nudge with his helmet to helmet but he easily coulda blown him up." He also could have pulled up and not made any contact at all, but aggies are stupid so what are ya gonna do? Helmet to helmet hits are illegal so he got the flag.
@@asdfghjkl10531 No, just run-of-the-mill standard braindead aggy incompetence. Simply pull up and there's no flag, but nope, the idiot had to get a little shot in and paid the price.
@@asdfghjkl10531 As an unbiased fan that was a flag all day, sucks to suck
aggie gonna aggie 😅
Targeting wasn't a call yet, so no. Helmet to helmet was not an immediate flag. Thank you for playing
Further more. Your pull up comment reflects you never played a competitive sport in your life. Try pulling up completely after accelerating hard. That's how you blow up your knees.
A controversial call? 1:15:01 😂😂😂😂
Absolute hose job by the refs
Typical aggy. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory!
That penalty ruined the game.
LOLOL a penalty on 1st down? CLUTCH THE PEARLS!!! Lol do y’all ever not incessantly whine? Do y’all not understand how y’all sound like such crybabies all the time when you lose to Texas in everything and then make up endless excuses. The University of Texas deserves a better rival than the reject school in college station. Thank god we have the OU game
@@asics1149 You seem wound-up on that trashy Austin cocaine. Move along, cow.
@@asics1149thank you so much for speaking the truth these aggies needed to hear it
Oh shut up, the longhorns are just so much better then the fraudulent ass aggies
good to see this rivalry comeback only time i’ll really go for a&m is against these austin losers
I never want to see the series revived, the rivalry became very personal.
That’s a bad comment
This comment aged like milk
Welp
I’d feel that way to if we lost multiple times to the horns hook em 🤘🏾
It’s supposed to be personal. That’s just aspect of many that todays NFL lacks.
Full glory.
