- FINALLY! If you'd like an explanation for the 7-month hiatus, here it is: I hired the help of an editor for this series and have been doing so since Bloodborne... they chop down the streams into more manageable chunks for me to then go through myself and edit down further/add colorful edits and such. Unfortunately, that editor (EditManMurph) suddenly went radio silent, I waited a few months and just worked on other projects in the meantime to see if they'd show back up but at time of writing they have not. Since announcing this, I had a different editor reach out (thanks, DinkBrinkus!) and offer to help with the series, and that's how we got this episode!

What with the editing problem solved and the Street Fighter series out of the way, I should be able to, god willing, release the last 2 episodes of this series relatively quickly... hopefully before the DLC comes out! Sorry again for the delay... I know the majority of the people watching this series have probably stopped caring at this point so we'll see how well this does view-wise.

Hey folks. To anybody who doesn't even know what they're looking at here, this is a returning series that was just recently on a loooong hiatus. Details are in the description about why that happened but basically, this is a series of me and Lark playing through Elden Ring. All of the footage is from within like 2 months of the game releasing but the edits have taken so long to come out that the footage is quite the time capsule.

I had never watched any Larken Ring videos because the previous ones came out before I played the game. Now that I have played them and this came out I went back to episode 1 to see what it was about, and I ended up binging the whole series in just a few days. It was incredibly entertaining. My favorite moments have been the nuclear test footage edited over the aborted sneeze, the part where you talk about using the cum toilet at the zoo (god I wish I saved the video/timestamp on that), and of course Anchors Aweigh. So personally, I'm glad for the delay, because if it hadn't happened I may never have watched these videos. Now that I have, I think I'll go check out the rest of the Lark Souls series.

This was the only souls series of your guys’ that I actually watched from the beginning when it started (got into bloodborne like halfway thru) so I’m very excited to see it returned
i actually kinda like that there are two astels. something scary about how these monsters are just an entire species where you can see the stages of their metamorphosis, and their design reminds me of the amygdala in bloodborne. godefroy the grafted can get godefroy the shafted though.

I had that exact same problem with the Ranni doll where I talked to it twice, got ... both times, and left it at that specifically because of the golden rule of Souls dialog.

I have been constantly rewatching the other episodes, so happy to finally have a new one! I'm still really concerned about what happened with Murph though, if you find anything out and are able to share the info, we'd love to hear it.
I started Dark Souls (Remastered) because of these series, and I don't regret it one bit (except the great hollow, it sucks). I started with a mage build cuz why not, but I've been using melee boss weapons to do actual damage since Anor Londo. I've only done 1 of the lord souls so far but I'm progressing all areas at once.
