That is wonderful, Ben. As a Portishead resident of 17 years, I didn't realise it could look so beautiful. And the music is hair-raising and spine-tingling all in one. Good bit of work.

Loved it. Thanks for bringing together parts of a town that sometimes feel disparate. It's easy to forget how beautiful a town it is.

Thank you for this beautiful video that captures everything that I love of this part of the world and the vibrancy and excitement of what makes Portishead the fantastic town that it is.

      Dear Claudine,
it's a bit awkward, but do you maybe know how to get a room in Portishead? I will be studying in Bristol for a year as an exchange student and I think I fell in love with Portishead. I would like to get a small, affordable room there and as you appear a local I was just wondering.
      Regards

Well I do know my way round but sadly I dont know many accommodations apart from the Premiere Inn near our new-ish Sainsburys, hope you enjoy it here :)

Went to a concert in Bristol a few days ago and since I always wanted to visit Portishead (fan of the band) I caught the X3A there and asked the bus driver to let me out to the station closest to the sea. So there I was, middle of the night, freezing cold (end of november ffs) some arctic winds going on or sumthin` just sitting on a bench in the Marina. After a few hours of not seeing a single person around the streets I decided to explore (if it wasn't dark I would've went for a swim too xD), reached all the way to the lighthouse (seems crappy in pictures but it's quite impressive upclose) then back to highstreet (yet no maps and no people around, this place feels like in a western movie, could almost see tumbleweeds rolling, not even one homeless person, which is damn odd) where I kinda had to take a nap in a Combe road(?) phone boot. Absolutly fell in love with the city and I plan to get back for more as soon as posible to explore it even further. This video helped me making an idea about how it looks during daytime (it actually has people, yaaaaay ).

Great work, Ben. Especially loved the sunrise through the Full Fathom Five sculpture. Have started playing around with timelapse recently - though haven't done anything in Portishead yet. I use either hacked Canon compacts (using CHDK firmware) or an intervalometer on my old Canon SLR. Intrigued by the start trails in the Black Nore Light footage. Usually they show circumpolar stars as concentric rings - what caused the trails to be spiralled?
