It literally took me four hours just figure out how to use the shape builder tool. Thank you. I just about fell on the floor when you started swiping lines out of the way.
I think an even better method to doing this would be using rounded rectangles on stroke and eliminating the lines you don't need. Then you can change the thickness accordingly.
I love Procreate, I’m not a graphic designer but I’m a decent drawer so I enjoy doing logos. However, upon very close inspection things ain’t perfect, so I really need to learn to use illustrator and I found this video very useful 😁
I am a graphic designer that hates illustrator, but have been really enjoying using procreate, watching this has inspired me to try the iPad version of illustrator and see what messes I can make :D
You could have done this "logo" (with lots of quotation marks because it's just a draw...) so much better and faster. Just draw 5 vertical lines, distribute space, join them up and down, max the corner radius and change thickness as you please... With these rectangles, you get stuck and it takes a lot of effort to tune the draw.
Hey I was trying to learn more about the ipad version of Ai and i noticed you say it's limited compared to the desktop. I'm considering gettin an iPad just for sketching and Ai. Do you think it's worth it? On the scale of 1 to 10 how close do you think it is to the desktop version? Thanks in advance🙏
Dude! I always love watching your videos man! So very cool! I love watching your process! I just hopped back and did a new design video over on my channel and happened to see this in my feed - glad I did!
Thnx for yet another *GREAT* and *HELPFUL* vid mate. I'm using Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 lite, i can't find Adobe Illustrator app for android i don't think there is one? Any alternatives for android users?
Hello Will, thank you for this tutorial! I was wondering if there's any tool on iPad illustrator that is equivalent to the 'object' tab which allows me to create arcs and bended shapes on desktop's illustrator?
Hello sir, I'm planning to buy ipad 9th gen to start graphic designing, but I'm confused if I should buy the original apple pencil or any third-party cheaper stylus, is apple pencil really important for graphic designing?????
"The good thing about Illustrator on the iPad is….etc" Yeah, we all know it’s a damned fine software. The bad thing about it: It’s a damned expensive software. Should cost $9 or $20 a year AND NOT $9 A MONTH!
@@kydN This is one app of an entire suite of apps. They can make $20,000,000 USD a year if say 1,000,000 users of both hobbyists and professionals are renting Illustrator for $20 annually. One app, 20 mill dollars a year. And that’s a modest guesstimate of the number of Adobe Illustrator users if we’re being generous. Look you clown, I’m not the only one who shares this opinion. MANY people are saying it’s expensive as well.
Hope you guys enjoy the video! If you did then hit that red subscribe button for more :)
What is the color code from the logo? 🙈
Are you gonna make another Reddit video this month?
I've been averse to using Adobe Illustrator on the ipad, and learning a new workflow, but now I regret the lost time! Thank you - super helpful :o)
Happy to help! thanks so much :D

An ipad isn't necessary for something as simple as this.

Hello, Please what Ipad did you use in this video, thank you
Thanks for tricks buddy
Although it’s limited in its capabilities compared to the desktop version, I’d very much like making my logos on the iPad it just feels more fluid.

If you can afford the iPAD why can't you afford the apple pencil. And no, the apple pencil is not important
hey did u buy it ?? and also i wanted to ask can a beginner start graphic designing directly from ipad ?? can i become a graphic designer using ipad
Would you learn how to draw more logos in ipad?
Looks nice and easy...
Can you do something similar in Vectornator?
"Can" in my question is for can you create a similar video for Vectornator...
Text style limitation cripples the vectornator so bad! But handlind the vectors is so much better on vectornator!
Really IPAD has chenged the game.
Sizes of canvas..
Can i have your old desk then?
was really hoping he was gonna fix that imperfection at the bottom right of the logo. looks a bit rough & ready.
I don’t have that iPad I have a iPad Air with no pen
👏 👏
obviously I am going to buy AI due to your sharing, Thanks!
